THE OPPORTUNITY
Technical expertise and developer enablement
Turn technical complexity into clarity. Help people confidently use technology.
At Quadmark, we create learning and enablement experiences that help enterprise audiences understand complex products, build capability and achieve better outcomes.
As a Technical Content Creator, you'll transform complex technical information into clear, engaging and practical learning content. You'll combine excellent writing, instructional design and hands-on technical expertise to help people understand and apply technology with confidence. You will develop enablement content using AI workflows.
You'll bring proven, hands-on experience with OpenAI Codex, alongside strong knowledge of APIs, cloud platforms and developer workflows. You'll use this expertise to create technically accurate content that explains how technologies work and how they can be applied in real-world situations.
Working with project leads, designers and technical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), you'll create digital learning and enablement materials supporting technical onboarding, implementation, product adoption and customer success.
You'll take ownership of assigned content from brief through to final approval, contributing immediately to an active delivery team.
WHAT THIS ROLE IS REALLY ABOUT
The Technical Content Creator makes complex technology understandable, accurate and actionable.
You combine technical credibility with learner empathy, strong writing and instructional design to turn detailed product information into content people can confidently use.
Your contribution centres on five outcomes:
- Technical credibility: You understand OpenAI Codex, APIs, cloud technologies and developer workflows through practical experience and can explain how they work.
- Clear technical storytelling: You simplify complex concepts without losing important detail or accuracy.
- Effective learning experiences: You create structured, engaging content that helps audiences build knowledge and apply new skills.
- Independent content ownership: You manage assigned content deliverables, balancing quality, accuracy and timelines.
- Quality and continuous improvement: You validate information, collaborate with SMEs and use feedback and AI tools to improve how content is created.
You're expected to work independently, interpret complex briefs, exercise sound judgement and proactively resolve challenges within your expertise.
You own the quality and effectiveness of your content while working within the wider programme direction and agreed client commitments.
WHAT THIS LOOKS LIKE IN PRACTICE
Technical expertise and developer enablement
You understand the technology and can explain how it works in practice.
- You have demonstrable, hands-on experience using OpenAI Codex in software development or AI-assisted coding workflows.
- You confidently explain Codex capabilities, practical applications, limitations and use cases, drawing on your own experience and technical documentation.
- You understand APIs, authentication, endpoints, requests and responses, data structures, integrations, cloud environments and error handling.
- You can interpret developer documentation, technical specifications and implementation guides, identifying gaps or inaccuracies and engaging SMEs where further validation is needed.
- You bring enough technical understanding to challenge assumptions and create credible explanations rather than simply rewriting source material.
Content strategy and narrative development
You turn complex information into clear, purposeful content.
- You interpret briefs and technical documentation to understand the audience, learning objectives and intended business outcomes.
- You ask thoughtful questions, identify what matters most and structure information into engaging, logical narratives.
- You translate technical capabilities into practical examples, use cases and scenarios that reflect how enterprise audiences use technology.
- You recommend suitable content formats and adapt your writing for different audiences, from business users to developers and implementation specialists.
Instructional design and content development
You create content that helps people put learning into practice.
You apply adult learning and instructional design principles to create relevant, accessible and engaging experiences.
You independently develop content including:

- API, cloud and developer enablement materials.
- Technical onboarding and implementation guides.
- Demo guides, technical walkthroughs and product tutorials.
- Sales and customer enablement playbooks.
- E-learning scripts, storyboards and training presentations.

You structure content around practical application, ensuring learners understand both technical concepts and how to use them.
You collaborate with designers and learning specialists to create a clear, consistent learner experience.
Technical accuracy and quality assurance
You create content people can trust.
- You take ownership of technical accuracy, clarity and completeness across your assigned work.
- You validate explanations, workflows, product capabilities and examples against approved documentation and SME input.
- You identify misleading simplifications, unsupported claims and inconsistent terminology before content is shared.
- You maintain agreed brand, editorial, accessibility and instructional standards, incorporating feedback accurately and constructively.
- You recognise that technical precision and learner clarity are equally important.
AI-enabled content creation and innovation
You use AI to strengthen your work without outsourcing judgement.
- You confidently use approved AI tools to accelerate content structuring, drafting, editing and refinement.
- You apply your practical Codex experience to create credible technical learning materials and examples.
- You critically evaluate AI-assisted outputs for technical accuracy, clarity, inclusivity and brand alignment.
- You follow confidentiality, data protection and client-specific AI-use requirements, identifying opportunities to improve content quality and efficiency.
Collaboration and delivery ownership
You bring clarity, reliability and accountability to delivery.
- You work effectively with project leads, designers, technical SMEs and stakeholders, building productive relationships and shared understanding.
- You manage assigned content independently, maintaining clear timelines, documentation and version control using tools such as Google Docs, Slides and Drive.
- You communicate progress proactively, raise technical uncertainties early and recommend practical solutions.
- You respond constructively to feedback and adapt when requirements change, maintaining quality and delivery commitments.
YOU WILL THRIVE HERE IF
- You have proven hands-on experience using OpenAI Codex in real-world development or AI-assisted coding workflows.
- You understand APIs, cloud technologies, software integrations and developer environments.
- You can confidently explain technical concepts and workflows to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- You have experience creating learning or enablement content for enterprise, B2B, SaaS or developer audiences.
- You're an excellent writer and editor who can simplify complexity without sacrificing accuracy.
- You understand instructional design and how to create content that supports practical learning and behaviour change.
- You're comfortable interpreting technical documentation and validating information with SMEs.
- You use AI tools confidently while maintaining independent judgement and quality control.
- You're proactive, organised, collaborative and comfortable owning complex content deliverables.
- You can integrate quickly into an active team and deliver high-quality work with minimal ramp-up time.
