Role Definition
We're looking for a Technical CRM & Content Operations Specialist to join our TechOps team and help improve campaign performance, content effectiveness, and operational efficiency across our active markets.
In this role, you'll combine campaign analytics, content optimization, and workflow troubleshooting, with a primary focus on improving open rates (OR) and click-through rates (CTR). Working closely with the TechOps Lead, you'll help establish consistent A/B testing practices across the CRM team, refine promotional messaging based on performance data, audit campaign setups for logical errors, and identify opportunities to make campaign deployment faster and more efficient.
What You’ll Do:
- Monitor open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and unsubscribes across audience segments, promotional types, and send times to identify performance trends, drop-off points, and optimization opportunities.
- Evaluate, rewrite, and refine subject lines, preheaders, body copy, and calls-to-action (CTAs) based on engagement data to improve campaign performance and conversion.
- Act as an operational checkpoint for team-wide testing plans, ensuring that testing strategies defined by TechOps are clearly communicated, standardized, and consistently followed across the CRM team.
- Track the master Promo Calendar and ensure campaign variables—including deposit requirements, send-time windows, wait timers, and bonus mechanics—remain consistent during long-term A/B tests, keeping results reliable and comparable.
- Document campaign learnings by category and establish messaging guidelines and performance benchmarks based on what works best.
- Review active and past campaigns to identify configuration errors and recurring issues across segmentation rules, wait timers, action nodes, bonus triggers, and deposit requirements.
- Test new operational approaches, workflow improvements, and platform configurations to eliminate bottlenecks, accelerate campaign deployment, and support changing team needs.
- Help CRM specialists configure non-standard promotional mechanics and multi-stage trigger flows, providing troubleshooting support when advanced campaign logic is involved.
- Document platform issues with clear reproduction steps, collaborate with QA and Development teams on fixes, and verify implementations after releases.
- Gather error logs for escalation to third-party providers and compile campaign send volumes and usage metrics to help the TechOps Lead and Finance team verify vendor invoices.
What We’re Looking For:
- 1–3 years of experience in CRM operations, marketing automation execution, campaign management, or campaign analytics.
- Strong copywriting and messaging instincts, with the ability to refine subject lines, preview text, promotional copy, and CTAs based on engagement data.
- A solid understanding of A/B testing principles, variable control, and campaign performance metrics, including OR, CTR, and conversion rates.
- Strong analytical and diagnostic skills, with the ability to audit complex campaign flows, identify logical errors, and troubleshoot configuration issues.
- A detail-oriented and process-driven mindset, with an interest in improving workflows and making campaign execution more efficient.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to align team members around testing standards, document findings, and report technical issues effectively.
Nice-to-have:
- Hands-on experience with Smartico or similar CRM and marketing automation platforms, such as Optimove, Fast Track, Braze, or Leanplum.
- Familiarity with interactive promotional mechanics, such as wheels of fortune, scratch cards, and mini-games.
- Experience in iGaming, including an understanding of regional marketing nuances and campaign operational requirements.
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary and discretionary performance bonus.
- Premium private health insurance, including dental care.
- €50 monthly flexible benefits allowance.
- Up to 25 days of paid annual leave.
- Hybrid working, including 1 work-from-home day per week.
- Opportunity to grow and have a real impact in a fast-moving international company.
- A collaborative environment where ownership, ideas and new ways of doing things are encouraged.
If you’re looking for a place where you can make an impact, take ownership and grow alongside the business, we’d love to hear from you.
