About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of complex technology projects within the Life Insurance industry. You will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality and technical standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Technical Project Management, IT Project Management, or Program Management, preferably within the Life Insurance industry.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex software and technology projects.
• Strong understanding of project management processes, governance, risk management, and delivery methodologies.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and modern software engineering practices.
• Experience working with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or equivalent platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple teams, priorities, dependencies, and stakeholders in a complex enterprise environment.

Preferred Qualification

• Professional certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, Scrum Master, or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Experience managing large-scale, cross-functional technology projects involving multiple teams and vendors.
• Familiarity with modern software engineering practices, DevOps, CI/CD, cloud technologies, APIs, and system integration.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Good understanding of Life Insurance business processes, including policy administration, underwriting, new business, premium processing, claims, and policy servicing.
• Experience working in an enterprise or regulated industry environment is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of technical projects, ensuring scope, timelines, budget, and quality objectives are achieved.
• Develop project delivery plans, timelines, resource allocation, milestones, and dependencies.
• Collaborate closely with product owners, business stakeholders, solution architects, engineering teams, QA, security, infrastructure, and other cross-functional teams.
• Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests, and develop appropriate mitigation and recovery plans.
• Monitor project progress using Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Ensure technical solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise architecture and technology standards.
• Coordinate system integrations, third-party solutions, and vendor deliverables where applicable.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure external partners meet agreed scope, timelines, quality standards, and contractual commitments.
• Facilitate project governance, steering meetings, and decision-making processes.
• Provide regular project status updates, dashboards, and executive-level reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes, project governance, and team performance.
• Drive effective communication and collaboration across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
