As a Technical designer/Functional Analyst, you will play a key role in the end-to-end solution development lifecycle for our internal customers. You will work closely with business stakeholders, development teams, and product owner to understand business needs, assess requirements, and translate them into clear functional and technical specifications.
From initial analysis through implementation, testing, and release, you will help ensure that solutions are delivered efficiently and meet customer expectations. Acting as a bridge between business and IT, you will contribute to the design of scalable, high-quality solutions and support their successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and assess business requirements, identifying complexity, dependencies, and solution impacts.
• Translate business needs into clear functional & technical specifications and implementation-ready solution designs.
• Design end-to-end solutions that align with business objectives and technical standards.
• Create and maintain functional designs, system specifications, sequence diagrams, and supporting documentation.
• Define integrations between applications, services, APIs, and external systems.
• Document API contracts, interface specifications, and integration patterns.
• Collaborate closely with developers, testers, and stakeholders throughout the entire Software Development Life Cycle.
• Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring a shared understanding of requirements and solutions.
• Support development, testing, and deployment activities, ensuring solutions are delivered according to customer expectations.
• Drive continuous improvements and support changes from development through production.
• Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, managing requirements and documentation using tools such as Jira and Confluence.

Your Profile:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Functional/Technical Analyst or Business Analyst.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications.
• Strong understanding of functional design principles, covering both backend processes and frontend/user experience.
• Experience modeling business processes, workflows, and system interactions using UML.
• Good understanding of API-based integrations. Knowledge of microservice architectures is a plus.
• Experience analyzing, documenting, or supporting integrations with third-party systems and services.
• Affinity with mobile application ecosystems and understanding of how backend services interact with mobile front-end applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken, as you will collaborate daily with colleagues and stakeholders in Belgium.
