Technical Documentation Specialist

Role Description This part-time Technical Documentation Specialist role is a hybrid position based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates, with flexibility for some work from home. The specialist will create, update, and maintain clear and accurate technical documents, including user manuals, process guides, and system documentation. Day-to-day tasks include gathering information from subject matter experts, organizing complex technical concepts into user-friendly content, and ensuring documentation aligns with product updates and organizational standards. The role also involves proofreading and revising existing materials, maintaining documentation repositories, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support training, onboarding, and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Technical Documentation and Documentation to structure and maintain comprehensive, accurate materials.
• Candidates should possess strong skills in Technical Writing and Communication to translate complex information into clear, concise, and accessible content.
• Candidates should possess strong skills in developing and maintaining Manuals for different audiences, such as end users, support teams, and internal stakeholders.
• Relevant experience working with technical teams (e.g., IT, engineering, product) and familiarity with documentation tools or content management systems.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple documentation projects in a part-time, hybrid work environment.
• Proficiency in written English; additional language skills and prior experience in the UAE or regional markets are beneficial.
• A diploma or degree in Technical Communication, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred but equivalent experience is also valued.
