We are looking for an engineer with a strong technical foundation and a few years of practical experience in a related field. You might have worked with electronics, automation, embedded systems, production technology or technical product support, and now want to apply your skills in card and identity technologies.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will work at the intersection of engineering, production and technical services, investigating technical challenges and translating your findings into practical improvements.

Working closely with Operations, Engineering, Product Management and Technical Services, you will contribute to product quality, efficient production and reliable customer solutions. The role combines hands-on investigation with testing, analysis and collaboration across teams.

You should bring relevant technical experience and the confidence to take ownership of your work. Previous expertise in RFID or card technologies is an advantage, but you can also build this specialist knowledge in the role.

What you will do

  • Investigate and resolve technical issues involving card production, encoding and related systems.

  • Test and evaluate materials, equipment, software and technical solutions.

  • Identify and implement improvements to quality, efficiency and reliability.

  • Contribute to technical projects, from analyzing requirements through testing and implementation.

  • Provide practical technical input to colleagues in Product Management, Operations and Technical Services.

  • Develop clear technical documentation, instructions and procedures.

  • Collaborate with suppliers and customers to understand technical needs and resolve issues.

  • Share knowledge across teams and explore technologies that could improve our solutions.

  • Act as the Subject matter expert when it comes to RFID and related technologies

What you bring

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical or electronic engineering, computer engineering, automation, mechatronics, engineering physics or a related technical field.

  • At least three years of relevant professional experience, for example in electronics, embedded systems, automation, production engineering, technical testing or technical product support.

  • Experience troubleshooting technical issues and taking solutions through testing and implementation.

  • A structured, analytical approach, combined with a practical, hands-on mindset.

  • The ability to take ownership of technical tasks and work effectively across teams.

  • Clear communication skills and the ability to turn technical findings into actionable recommendations.

  • Good communication skills in Swedish and English.

Experience that would be a plus

  • RFID, smart cards, identity or access control technologies.

  • Manufacturing, personalisation or other production processes.

  • Programming, system integration or data analysis.

  • Technical collaboration with customers or suppliers.

Why join us?

You will work on tangible products and see the impact of your engineering decisions in production and customer solutions. The role offers varied technical challenges, collaboration with experienced colleagues and room to develop specialist expertise while taking meaningful responsibility.

If you bring technical experience, curiosity and a drive to make things work better, we would like to hear from you.
