Technical Functional Analyst

For our client, a global banking group, we are looking for a Technical Functional Analyst who will join a growing Cash Management Solutions (CMS) team in Dublin.

The role sits at the intersection of business and technology, working closely with business stakeholders, developers, compliance teams and external partners to deliver secure, efficient and scalable digital banking solutions for corporate clients.

This is a full time permanent position, hybrid working structure in Dublin (2 days a week) and the salary range is €70k -80k p.a.

Key responsibilities:

• Translate business needs into technical requirements, support API integrations and ensure that new and existing services meet business, regulatory and technical standards.
• Gather and analyse business and regulatory requirements for API and Open Banking services.
• Collaborate with developers and architects on REST API design and integrations
• Support API testing and automation using tools such as Postman, SoapUI or JMeter.
• Work with business stakeholders, compliance teams and external partners to support successful delivery and onboarding.
• Ensure solutions meet internal governance, audit and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Experience in a Business Analyst, Technical Analyst, Functional Analyst or similar role, within banking or financial services.
• Strong system design skills, with the ability to explain and justify technical decisions in real-world banking or trading environments.
• Knowledge of API technologies, including REST, JSON, OAuth2 and OpenAPI specifications.
• Familiarity with Open Banking frameworks and regulatory standards, such as PSD2 and ISO 20022.
