Technical Lead - Golang

We are looking for a Technical Lead (Golang) to join a software development team delivering services for a leading digital financial services platform.

The team is responsible for building and evolving microservices and integrations using technologies such as Go, REST APIs, and event-driven architectures, within an integration ecosystem based on Multiverse (MU) and Solace messaging.

This role combines hands-on development with technical leadership, requiring close coordination with architects, developers, QA engineers, and the client's technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to the development team, mentoring developers and promoting software engineering best practices
• Participate in the analysis, design, development, and evolution of microservices using Go
• Define and validate technical solutions aligned with the client's architectural guidelines
• Oversee the implementation of REST APIs, integrations, and components based on event-driven architecture
• Conduct code reviews, support the resolution of technical issues, and ensure the quality of deliverables
• Coordinate with architecture, QA, and other teams to manage technical dependencies
• Support technical estimation, activity planning, and tracking of development commitments
• Assist with testing, technical documentation, and knowledge transfer
• Identify technical risks and propose solutions that contribute to achieving project objectives

Requirements

• 5+ years of proven experience as a Technical Lead or senior developer with leadership responsibilities
• At least 1 year of relevant leadership experience
• Strong proficiency in Go (Golang) and backend service development
• Experience designing and developing microservices
• Solid knowledge of REST APIs and systems integration
• Experience with Event-Driven Architecture
• Familiarity with development best practices, code review, and quality assurance
• Ability to analyze technical requirements and propose scalable, maintainable solutions
• Strong technical leadership skills and the ability to guide development teams
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Strong organization, autonomy, and results orientation, with the ability to manage priorities and make technical decisions
• Spanish language skills for client interaction
• English language skills at B2+ level to support technical communication with external providers

Nice to have

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Knowledge of Solace and event-based messaging systems
• Experience in financial or banking platforms
• Experience working with agile, multidisciplinary teams
• Familiarity with microservices integration platforms
