Technical Lead - MERN Stack

We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead – MERN Stack to lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable, high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience across the MERN stack, proven technical leadership capabilities, and the ability to guide development teams while ensuring code quality, architectural excellence, and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing technical guidance and support throughout the development lifecycle.
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications using the MERN stack.
• Define technical architecture, coding standards, and development best practices.
• Lead the development of frontend applications using React.js and backend services using Node.js and Express.js.
• Design and manage database solutions using MongoDB, ensuring performance, scalability, and data integrity.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure software quality.
• Identify technical challenges, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement effective solutions.
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Oversee development planning, task allocation, code integration, and delivery timelines.
• Ensure application security, performance optimization, and system reliability.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and support deployment activities.
• Promote Agile development practices and continuous improvement within the team.

Technical Requirements

• Strong professional experience in full-stack development using the MERN stack.
• Expert-level knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• MongoDB: Database design, aggregation pipelines, indexing, and performance optimization.
• Express.js: Backend development, middleware, routing, and API development.
• React.js: Component-based architecture, hooks, state management, and frontend optimization.
• Node.js: Server-side development, asynchronous programming, and backend architecture.
• Strong experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and clean code principles.
• Experience with state management tools such as Redux, Context API, or Zustand.
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms, including JWT and OAuth 2.0.
• Experience with Git and version control systems.
• Familiarity with Docker, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong understanding of application security, scalability, and performance optimization.
