Technical Lead (Remote – Philippines)

In this role, you'll lead the design and development of critical software systems while remaining actively involved in coding, technical decision-making, and mentoring engineers. You'll help shape our engineering standards, solve complex technical challenges, and leverage modern technologies including AI-assisted development tools to build scalable, high-quality software that delivers real business value. What You'll Do Lead Technical Delivery Drive the architecture, design, and development of critical software systems and platform enhancements. Lead by example through hands-on coding and technical decision-making. Solve complex engineering challenges while balancing scalability, quality, and long-term maintainability. Build High-Quality Software Collaborate with engineers, Scrum Masters, and Project Managers to deliver reliable software solutions. Establish engineering best practices, coding standards, and quality-focused development processes. Ensure projects are delivered on time without compromising quality or performance. Mentor & Grow Engineering Teams Coach and mentor engineers through technical guidance, feedback, and knowledge sharing. Foster a collaborative engineering culture focused on innovation and continuous improvement. Support career development while helping engineers grow their technical capabilities. Drive Innovation Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, debugging, and software delivery. Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and engineering practices. Support root cause analysis and drive improvements that strengthen system reliability and long-term platform health. What We're Looking For 7+ years of software development experience, including 3+ years in a technical leadership role. Strong hands-on experience building modern software applications using languages such as Java, C#, C++, Python, JavaScript, or similar. Experience with full-stack development, modern architectures, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms. Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, Agile development, testing, and database design. Proven ability to lead technical initiatives while remaining actively involved in development. Experience mentoring engineers and driving engineering excellence. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. Experience using or adopting AI-assisted development tools is a strong advantage.
