Technical Manager

Role Description The Coordinator of Volunteers is a part-time remote role responsible for organizing and supporting volunteers who contribute to the association’s programs and initiatives. On a day-to-day basis, this role recruits and onboards volunteers, provides training and guidance, and maintains clear communication regarding schedules, tasks, and expectations. The coordinator tracks volunteer participation, updates records, and ensures volunteers have the tools and information needed to perform effectively. The role also collaborates with staff and partners to identify volunteer opportunities, supports community outreach activities, and helps recognize and retain engaged volunteers. This position requires proactive planning, consistent follow-up, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Volunteer Management and Volunteer Training to effectively organize, support, and develop volunteers.
• Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication skills to build relationships, provide clear guidance, and resolve issues constructively.
• Candidates should possess experience in Community Outreach to help connect the association’s programs with relevant communities and stakeholders.
• Experience coordinating volunteers or community programs, preferably in non-profit or healthcare-related contexts, is beneficial.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks remotely, are required.
• Comfort with digital tools and remote collaboration platforms, and proficiency in written and spoken English; additional language skills are a plus.
• Relevant education in social sciences, public health, nonprofit management, or a related field is advantageous but not strictly required.
