Technical Marketer

We are seeking a highly skilled and technically proficient marketer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who not only understands the marketing landscape but also has a deep understanding of the technical aspects behind tracking, analytics, and digital marketing tools. In this role, you will be responsible for combining your marketing and technical expertise to optimize and automate our marketing strategies, especially within our own technical platform. You will work closely with our marketing team to implement data-driven solutions that enhance our visibility, conversion, and customer loyalty, all while ensuring compliance with privacy regulations, service-side tracking, and effective use of cookies. Key Responsibilities: - Implement and manage server-side tracking solutions to ensure accurate data collection. - Develop and maintain cookie tracking strategies in compliance with privacy regulations. - Utilize tag management systems (e.g., Google Tag Manager) to deploy and manage marketing and analytics tags. - Work closely with the analytics team to leverage Google Analytics for detailed insights and reporting. - Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure seamless integration of marketing technologies. - Stay updated with the latest trends in digital marketing technology and data privacy laws. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Proven experience in technical marketing roles with a focus on server-side tracking, cookies, and tag management. - Expertise in Google Analytics, including setup, configuration, and reporting. - Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and their use in marketing. - Knowledge of data privacy regulations and their impact on digital marketing. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills: - Experience with additional analytics and marketing tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Salesforce). - Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Python, PHP) is a plus. - Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
