Mission — Why We Exist, What We Do, and Why We Need You
Profisee exists to empower the possibilities of the data-enabled future. In a world where data drives decisions, opportunity, and innovation, the importance of trusted data simply cannot be overstated. Profisee is a growing Microsoft top-tier partner focused on data management solutions in general and, more specifically, in the area of Master Data Management.
The Technical Partner Alliances Manager (UK) sits at the intersection of technical pre-sales and partner alliance management. You'll be the person our partners call on to understand how Profisee's platform solves their customers' problems — and the person who builds the structured, repeatable co-sell motion that keeps new opportunities flowing from that partner ecosystem. You'll work closely with our Channel/Alliances leadership on partner recruitment and enablement, and directly with partner sales and technical teams to shape, demo, and close opportunities. This role requires someone who is equally comfortable running a technical discovery call and building a joint business plan with a partner's leadership team.
Your Performance Objectives — What You Will Accomplish
In your first year, you will build and run a UK co-sell motion that reliably sources and accelerates pipeline through our partner ecosystem — attaining your annual partner-sourced revenue target by enabling partners technically, embedding yourself in their deal cycles, and building durable relationships from the field level up through partner leadership.
In your first 30 days, you will invest your time learning our platform, our partners, and our co-sell mechanics:
• Complete onboarding / product training (our equivalent of "Academy").
• Shadow Presales and Partner Alliances colleagues on live partner calls.
• Review the current UK partner roster, active co-sell pipeline, and any existing joint business plans.
• Meet the Regional Channel/Alliances Manager, key Sales leadership, and your Marketing and Product counterparts.
Within 60 days, you will apply that foundational knowledge to begin assisting live opportunities:
• Deploy and present standard product demos, tailored to both business and technical audiences.
• Join discovery calls alongside partner account teams.
• Begin mapping the UK partner landscape — VARs, SIs, ISVs, and any hyperscaler alliance programs (AWS, Microsoft, GCP) relevant to our ecosystem.
• Learn our deal registration, MDF/funding, and co-sell approval processes end to end.
Within 90 days, you will be a fully active Technical Partner Alliances Manager, supporting partner-sourced opportunities directly:
• Partner with account executives and partner sellers on discovery and solutioning.
• Build a technical vision and configure a demonstrable solution to support it, covering topics such as:
? Platform architecture, security, and integration patterns
? API and web services integration
? Data modeling and core solution configuration
? Workflow and application build-out
? Governance, metadata, and reporting
• Begin building joint business plans with your top-tier UK partners, including shared KPIs and account mapping.
Within 6 months, you will have a durable, repeatable partner pipeline engine running:
• Formal joint business plans in place with your top-tier partners, covering target accounts, shared pipeline goals, and enablement cadence.
• A regular cadence of technical enablement sessions, training new and existing partner sellers and solution engineers.
• Reusable demo assets, sales plays, and collateral built for the partner community, reducing ramp time for future partners.
• A clear view of your partner-sourced pipeline against target, with corrective action already underway on any at-risk accounts.
Within 12 months, you will have attained your annual performance targets:
• Hit (or exceed) your annual partner-sourced / co-sell revenue target.
• Grown the number of technically enabled, certified partner sellers and solution engineers across your territory.
• Built relationships that run from field sellers up through partner sales and technical leadership — not just inherited access, but a repeatable playbook for expanding influence within each partner organization.
• Contributed reusable IP (playbooks, demo assets, enablement content) adopted beyond your own territory.
Competencies — What We Are Looking For
• Discover — Lead discovery calls that probe a partner's (and their customer's) current pain and situation. Build relationships and "plant the seeds" for our solution; learn a partner's technology ecosystem on the fly; find the specific reasons our platform fits.
• Create and Demonstrate — Creatively map what's been learned in discovery to a proposed solution, and demonstrate it through standard and customized demos. "Own the room" as a credible technical authority on our platform.
• Learn and Know — Rapidly learn our platform and the partner's complementary technologies — including, where relevant, hyperscaler ecosystems (AWS, Microsoft, GCP) and the tools our partners build on.
• Evangelize — Drive demand generation by presenting at partner seminars, workshops, and enablement sessions. Maintain in-depth knowledge of industry trends and the broader partner landscape.
• Co-Sell & GTM Execution — Build and manage structured, joint go-to-market plans with partners. Navigate deal registration, MDF/funding programs, and designation/competency requirements as the operating mechanics of a healthy co-sell motion — not afterthoughts.
• Relationship Building — Build trust-based relationships across a partner organization, starting with field sellers and account managers and deliberately working upward to sales and technical leadership. This should be a repeatable approach, not reliance on inherited access.
• Communicate — Collaborate effectively with R&D, Services, Partner Alliances, Marketing, and Account Executives to continuously improve our solutions, messaging, and processes.
• Attitude — A partner-first, client-first mindset, backed by technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, presentation skills, and business acumen.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to translate complex technical concepts for both practitioner and executive audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently, with a track record of success in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Ability to travel up to [30–50]% within the UK, with occasional travel to EU/US offices or partner events.
Why You Should Come Work With Us
• You will grow here more than you would anywhere else
• You will join at a high-growth / high-traction inflection point for the partner ecosystem.
• You will be part of a supportive, engaged leadership team and culture
• You will join a team of experienced, passionate colleagues.
