Technical Practice Lead (MuleSoft)
As a MuleSoft Technical Practice Lead, you sit at the intersection of technical delivery, practice growth, and market expansion. You split your focus between driving high-impact client engagements, serving as a Lead Architect or advisory lead, and championing internal practice capabilities. These internal capabilities include go-to-market (GTM) strategy, sales engineering, delivery governance, and reusable asset development. You act as a trusted advisor to senior executive stakeholders, lead project teams through complex digital transformations, and serve as the technical authority across pre-sales and solutioning efforts.

Role Responsibilities:

Practice Leadership & Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategy
  • Serve as the principal technical expert supporting sales, solution engineering, and GTM teams to scope, estimate, and close complex integration deals.
  • Define and maintain technical Points-of-View (POVs), market offerings, and architectural blueprints for enterprise integration and hyperautomation.
  • Build, maintain, and showcase reusable demo assets on the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, incorporating technologies such as Salesforce Data 360, Informatica, Snowflake, Runtime Fabric (RTF), and API Manager.
  • Analyze market dynamics, competitive ecosystems, and emerging integration patterns (e.g., AI integration, event-driven architectures) to inform product strategy and service offerings.
  • Author thought leadership content, white papers, and technical blogs to elevate practice visibility in the market.
Client Engagement & Delivery Governance
  • Lead end-to-end architectural design, API-led connectivity strategies, and complex integration implementations across client portfolios.
  • Drive requirements discovery, API lifecycle management, performance tuning, and security policy configuration across multi-cloud environments.
  • Oversee multi-disciplinary delivery teams, establishing technical standards, code quality frameworks, and governance best practices.
  • Partner with client C-suite, enterprise architects, and business stakeholders to align technology solutions with business outcomes.
Talent Mentorship & Capability Building
  • Mentor, upskill, and scale internal consulting teams on MuleSoft standards, API-led design principles, and modern application networks.
  • Build internal accelerators, code frameworks, and reusable API patterns to drive delivery efficiency and consistency.
  • Foster a high-performance culture grounded in technical excellence, continuous learning, and continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD) best practices.
Qualifications & Core Requirements
  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in enterprise solution architecture and technical consulting with a primary focus on the MuleSoft platform.
  • MuleSoft Expertise: Deep expertise in API led connectivity models, alongside advanced proficiency with Anypoint Platform, DataWeave, Anypoint Studio, API Gateway, MuleSoft IDP, and MuleSoft RPA.
  • Consulting Leadership: Proven track record of guiding clients through pre-sales, discovery, design, and full-lifecycle delivery in a consulting environment.
  • Deployment & Security: Hands-on experience with API lifecycle management, zero-trust security policies, CloudHub, Runtime Fabric (RTF), and hybrid deployment topologies.
  • Data & CRM Ecosystems: Solid understanding of enterprise data architectures, Customer 360 models, data governance, and data modeling across CRM and cloud platforms.
  • Communication: Executive-level written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to articulate business value to technical and non-technical audiences alike.
  • Authorization: Must have full-time permanent US work authorization.
Preferred Skills & Emerging Technologies
  • Experience integrating MuleSoft with Salesforce data solutions (Data Cloud, CRM Analytics, Sales or Service Cloud), as well as core enterprise systems such as NetSuite, SAP, and Oracle.
  • Deep domain experience in the banking and financial services industry, including familiarity with core banking and financial platforms, is strongly preferred.
  • Exposure to Generative AI and agentic integration architectures, enterprise machine learning platforms, or AI-driven API orchestrations.
  • Experience connecting MuleSoft integrations to public cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, as well as enterprise data platforms like Snowflake, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Relevant MuleSoft Certifications (e.g., MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect, Integration Architect).
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
