Whether you’re an experienced professional or just getting started, your contributions matter at Fortra. If you’re passionate about tackling meaningful challenges alongside talented team members committed to helping each other succeed, all while having lots of fun, we want to hear from you. We offer competitive benefits and salaries, personal and professional development opportunities, flexibility, and much more!

We are seeking a senior technical marketer who can combine product marketing strategy with strong content judgment and a genuine interest in becoming a subject matter expert. You will help market a portfolio of offensive-security products and training to technically sophisticated red teamers, penetration testers, security leaders, and other practitioners. Success in this role requires more than translating standard cybersecurity messaging: you will learn how the products work, understand the problems they solve, and turn that knowledge into technically accurate, distinctive, and engaging positioning and content. You will own marketing priorities for assigned brands, with particular focus on the products that need greater attention, while supporting launches, sales enablement, competitive intelligence, and go-to-market planning across the portfolio.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Own positioning and messaging that clearly communicates differentiated product value and resonates with both technical practitioners and the leaders who fund their work.
  • Develop considerable working knowledge of assigned products and become a credible marketing subject matter expert; learn from product experts, trainers, engineers, researchers, and customers.
  • Create and edit technically accurate, engaging content across blogs, product pages, campaigns, social media, training promotions, sales materials, and other customer-facing channels.
  • Build practical marketing plans for assigned brands, prioritizing the products and audiences that need greater attention and balancing near-term execution with longer-term growth.
  • Support sales with useful messaging, presentations, competitive materials, and other enablement that helps explain product capabilities without overstating them.
  • Monitor industry trends, practitioner needs, competitive activity, and changes in the offensive-security market; turn relevant insights into recommendations and content ideas.
  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, Product Management, and highly technical subject matter experts to shape go-to-market strategy, validate claims, and improve the quality of messaging and communications.
