What you’ll do
- Develop and report project/program plans for Engineering deliverables and track their status
- Manage tasks/workpackages and milestones within Engineering to ensure that program deliverables are met
- Support Engineering management in resource assessments and resource planning scenarios
- Schedule Engineering related tests on test systems and Lab systems to validate system performance
- Order and track Engineering material
- Provide support for Pilot and High Volume Manufacturing by organizing relevant Engineering documents or tracking their availability (Bill of Material, Drawings, Schematics)
- Coordinate, track and support execution of NSRs (Non Standard Request) in the Product Lifecycle Management system, ensuring approved non-standard changes are implemented in accordance with Lam governance
- Moderate Engineering milestones release meetings (e.g. Theory of Operation’s)
- Track Engineering related KPIs (key performance indicators) and provide visibility to leadership on risks, delays, & corrective actions
- Contribute to Engineering budget planning (OPEX, CAPEX, AOP requests, programs)
- Manage content preparation for customer milestones
- Manage product development transitions to other Lam entities
- Develop and deliver clear and concise communications for leadership teams and stakeholders
- Prepare presentations, reports, and summaries for marketing and executive forums
- Identify gaps in business processes and implement best practices for efficiency and accuracy
Who we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience; or Master’s degree with 6+ years’ experience; or a PhD with 3+ years’ experience; or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of continuous improvement or technical program management or related experience in a similar function
- Experience guiding cross-functional teams and demonstrating influence skills to deliver results
- Clear and thorough communication skills, strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work well with a wide range of personalities, to grasp complex interconnections and to self-drive bias for action
- Excellent project management skills
- Analytical skills to interpret and utilize data for decision support
- Intercultural collaboration skills and cultural sensitivity
- Excellent presentation skills, and oral and written communication skills in English
What We're Offering
This position is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) for Employees in the Metal Technology Industry in the occupation group F or G depending on educational background and experience. The monthly salary is paid 14 times per year.
