Technical Program Manager (up to 20M JPY, bilingual, hybrid)

Operating with the engineering autonomy of a modern tech company, the team works closely with executive and global stakeholders to replace legacy systems with modern cloud services, distributed platforms, and automated pipelines.

The role is based in Tokyo on a hybrid schedule with compensation up to 20M JPY and requires strong bilingual communication in Japanese and English to bridge business stakeholders and engineering teams.

Position Description

You will take ownership of cross-functional delivery across large-scale technology modernization and business transformation initiatives, coordinating between software engineering, product management, and business operations. Your day-to-day work involves breaking down strategic enterprise goals into structured roadmaps, mapping complex business processes, mitigating architectural dependencies, and guiding programs from initial discovery through technical execution. You will partner closely with engineering teams working on modern cloud architectures, APIs, and data platforms, helping introduce agile ways of working, clear governance, and practical AI tools to accelerate operational efficiency across Japan and international teams.

Ideal Candidate

• 5+ years of experience leading complex technical programs, enterprise transformations, or cross-functional digital initiatives

• Solid technical grounding in software delivery, distributed architecture, APIs, modern cloud platforms, and workflow modeling

• Proven ability to align diverse stakeholders across engineering, product management, and business leadership

• Professional fluency in both Japanese and English with the ability to facilitate technical discussions and executive workshops
