Show job description

We are seeking an experienced ASIC Program Manager to lead complex ASIC/SoC development programs from concept through silicon production and product release. The role requires strong technical expertise in semiconductor development combined with exceptional program management, stakeholder management, and leadership skills to drive cross-functional execution, mitigate risks, and ensure successful delivery of high-quality ASIC products on schedule and within budget.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end ASIC/SoC development programs, driving execution from architecture definition through silicon validation, qualification, and production release.
  • Develop, maintain, and manage integrated program plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and critical paths across all engineering and operations functions.
  • Coordinate closely with architecture, digital design, analog design, verification, physical design, DFT, CAD, product engineering, packaging, foundry, and operations teams to ensure seamless program execution.
  • Drive program reviews, monitor progress against milestones, identify risks proactively, and implement mitigation plans to ensure successful tapeouts and product delivery.
  • Establish clear ownership, accountability, governance, and escalation processes while facilitating effective cross-functional decision making.
  • Ensure tapeout readiness by driving design reviews, checklist completion, issue resolution, and milestone sign-offs ahead of critical development gates.
  • Provide regular program updates, status reporting, and executive communications on schedule, resource, quality, and business risks.

Must-Have Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
  • 8+ years of semiconductor industry experience, including 5+ years managing ASIC/SoC development programs from concept through tapeout and production.
  • Strong understanding of ASIC/SoC development lifecycle, design verification, physical implementation, silicon validation, qualification, and semiconductor manufacturing processes.
  • Proven experience leading complex cross-functional engineering programs involving internal teams, foundries, IP vendors, and external partners.
  • Expertise in program planning, risk management, dependency tracking, stakeholder management, executive communication, and data-driven decision making.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Administration and/or PMP certification.
  • Experience with advanced technology nodes (3nm, 2nm, and beyond) and managing relationships with foundries and IP suppliers.
  • Exposure to AI, networking, wireless, telecom, data center, or high-performance computing ASIC products.
