Technical Project Manager / GTS

The Position: As a Technical Project Manager , you will be a key member of our R&D team in Granada, Spain . You will be involved in the development and follow-up of projects for our Optronics team . What you’ll be doing: Defining schedule and planning for our projects . Ensuring adherence to project plan by regular follow-up and meetings . Financial c ontrolling : income and expenses for every project (SAP) . Identifying risks and/or deviations to baseline, not only in planning and cost, but also in technical activities. Negotiating changes in the scope of projects with relevant stakeholders. Ensuring technical team stick to the development quality standards (Engineering Quality). Preparing Industrialization of the product . Reporting status of projects to the Program Manager . What you Bring to Safran : Degree i n Electronic Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science or related field . Good written and communication skills in English . Knowledge of one or more of the following fields: Electronics, embedded software, systems engineering . Experience in engineering project s development: methodologies, V&V cycle , metrics, project milestones , certification. Passion, energy and motivation to participate in international environment. Capacity for teamwork , organization skills and autonomous work . Required experience in : Project Management. Engineering: t echnical background. Electronics . Teamplayer in an inter-cultural environment D esirable experience in : Aero nautics standards: DO-254, DO-178, AC 20-152, AR INC , other EASA / FAA norms.
