Job Description

Just imagine turning ambitious plans for machines, workshops and technical spaces into safe, fully operational environments. Then make it real.

Please note: This role is based in Billund, it is a 2-year fixed term contract and we do not support relocation.

About the role

As our Technical Project Manager – Innovation Campus, you’ll lead the technical delivery of the interior fit-out under a two-year fixed-term contract. From machinery installation and workshop relocation to commissioning and handover, you’ll connect design, engineering, technology and operations. You’ll turn business needs into executable plans while keeping scope, cost, quality and time in focus.

Required Qualifications

  • Led projects for 3+ years within machinery and equipment, workplace construction, fit-out, engineering, real estate, oil and gas, or wind power.
  • Coordinated technical integration across machinery, equipment, building services, information technology, audiovisual systems, security and operations.
  • Owned project controls covering scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality and change.
  • Created structured project plans that systemised technical interfaces, responsibilities, dependencies and delivery activities.
  • Managed testing, commissioning, defect resolution and technical handover for safe, compliant and operational environments.
  • Managed procurement, suppliers, contracts and costs across multidisciplinary technical projects.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Used artificial intelligence to develop templates or project plans, evaluate risks, or support time management.

What you'll build

  • Lead the installation and relocation of machines, equipment and workshops.
  • Create integrated delivery plans across complex technical interfaces.
  • Drive timely decisions and provide transparent progress reporting.
  • Coordinate testing, commissioning and defect resolution.
  • Prepare operational spaces for a structured handover to local facilities teams.

If you’ve worked in a role where you coordinated multidisciplinary delivery and translated technical complexity into clear decisions, you’ll feel at home here. What matters most is your ability to create structure, maintain control and move technical workstreams towards a shared outcome.

Life on the team

You’ll join Workplace Experience Projects, where we deliver the right space at the right time and cost. The LEGO® team combines careful project governance with creativity, communication and thoughtful collaboration. We priorities time together, share a regular anchor day and use a flexible hybrid rhythm when relevant. You’ll build relationships across specialist groups, communicate complex topics clearly and apply critical thinking when plans need to change.

What success looks like

You’ll create clarity across technical interfaces and establish dependable project controls. Over the next 12–18 months, the team will support office expansions, relocations and strategic workplace programs across the LEGO Group. You’ll work closely with the program lead, two project managers, machine-safety specialists, local end users, external technicians and procurement colleagues
