About the role

As a VeroTech consultant, you contribute to advanced defense and security solutions across land, air, naval and national security domains. You support proposal activities for complex electronics, IT and telecommunication systems, helping translate customer needs into robust architectures and technical offers.

Working closely with sales, engineering and customer stakeholders, you guide technical solution choices from early requirements analysis to architecture definition. The role combines system-level thinking, trade-off analysis and co-engineering across development, integration and prototyping activities, with a strong focus on feasible solutions, cost, risk and schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze customer needs and translate them into clear technical proposal requirements

• Support sales teams in preparing technical offers for complex defense and security solutions

• Lead the technical dimensions of proposals, including solution scope, architecture input and technical feasibility

• Define candidate architectures through trade-offs between stakeholder expectations, technology choices, cost, risk and schedule

• Manage requirements allocation, performance assessment and critical parameters across the relevant project life cycle

What we're looking for

We are looking for a technology-driven proposal professional who combines customer focus, creativity, problem-solving skills and strong communication with hands-on experience in complex electronics and IT systems.

• Engineering degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Telecommunications or a related field, with at least 10 years of working experience

• Experience with technical public tenders

• Experience across the full development cycle, including requirements engineering, design, development, testing and integration

• Proven background in end-to-end architecture, third-party integration, prototyping and system integration on electronics/IT platforms

• Knowledge of or strong curiosity for sensors, effectors and communication systems for vehicles, drones, counter-drones and robots

• Proven background within defense

Languages

Fluency in English and French is mandatory
