Candidate profile
What You’ll Do
-
Be a Strategic Talent Advisor
- Own the full-cycle recruiting process for Product, Engineering, Data, and other technical roles.
- Go beyond the job description to understand the needs of your hiring teams, acting as a consultant to define role requirements, success profiles, and technical interview strategies.
- Use data and market insights to guide and influence leaders, helping them make informed hiring decisions in a competitive tech market.
Champion the Candidate Experience
- Create a world-class experience for every candidate, ensuring they feel valued, informed, and respected at every stage.
- Serve as the primary guide for candidates, providing clear communication, timely feedback, and a genuine connection to DAT's mission and values.
- Manage the offer process, from creating competitive compensation packages to closing top talent with empathy and expertise.
- Turn every interaction into a branding opportunity, leaving candidates with a positive impression regardless of the outcome.
Drive Recruiting Excellence
- Leverage your sourcing expertise to find and engage the passive technical talent that others can't.
- Maintain impeccable data integrity in Greenhouse, understanding that good data fuels smart decisions and process improvements.
- Continuously look for ways to improve our hiring processes, from technical interview structure to candidate feedback loops.
The Skills and Experience You’ll Bring
-
Your Recruiting Craft
- 3-5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a focus on technical roles (software engineering, data/ML, product management).
- A track record of success in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, preferably in tech or SaaS.
- Technical fluency: you understand tech stacks and engineering and product team structures well enough to calibrate with leaders and engage candidates credibly.
- Deep expertise in modern sourcing techniques, including LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean searches, GitHub and other technical communities, and building engaged talent pipelines.
How You'll Partner
- A consultative mindset with a history of earning trust and influencing hiring managers and business leaders.
- The ability to connect the dots between a single hire and the broader success of the business.
- A commitment to delivering a strong hiring manager experience: you proactively share pipeline updates, candidate feedback, and market insights on a regular cadence, so hiring managers always know where their search stands and what comes next.
- Exceptional communication skills; you're equally comfortable advising a senior leader, negotiating an offer, or giving constructive feedback.
- A high sense of urgency balanced with a commitment to quality and meticulous attention to detail.
Your Personal Attributes
- Resilience, adaptability, and a positive, problem-solving attitude.
- A genuine passion for creating positive and inclusive experiences for every candidate.
- A data-driven approach to understanding your pipeline and improving your results.
