Technical Sales Support (Healthcare)

Silgan Dispensing is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Support professional to support our North America Healthcare business. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong technical background in healthcare, pharmaceutical packaging, medical devices, or filling equipment who enjoys working directly with customers and collaborating across teams.

In this position, you will serve as a key technical resource, partnering with customers, contract development and manufacturing organizations (CDMOs), the Sales team, and internal departments to support projects from initial concept through commercialization.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and support to the North America Healthcare Sales team.
• Lead technical discussions with customers, fillers, CDMOs, and internal stakeholders.
• Support filling lines, packaging lines, validation activities, and commercialization projects.
• Coordinate customer projects from initial concept through successful commercialization.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Project Management, Quality, Manufacturing, and Sales teams to ensure customer needs are met.
• Troubleshoot technical and quality-related issues, working with internal teams to identify effective solutions.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Packaging, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical packaging, medical devices, filling equipment, or related industries.
• Strong customer-facing experience and project management skills.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to travel as required to support customers and business needs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with pharmaceutical, healthcare, medical device, or CDMO customers.
• Knowledge of filling line equipment, packaging equipment, and validation processes.
• Familiarity with regulated manufacturing environments.

Work Environment

This is a remote, home-based position supporting customers throughout North America. Frequent travel is required for customer meetings, industry events, and internal business activities. Travel may include both air and automobile transportation.

The anticipated starting salary for this position is $ 80,000. Final compensation may be higher and will be commensurate with the selected candidate’s experience, qualifications, and overall value they bring to the organization.
