The technical service coordinator will be responsible for managing day-to-day service activities (maintenance contracts, service calls, mechanical overhauls, small installations, etc) for the industrial refrigeration department.
YOUR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:
* Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules.
* Assign technicians to service calls based on their skill set.
* Verify and ensure work orders are completed and properly directed.
* Accurately record and process technicians' hours worked in the computerized management system for payroll.
* Participate in the procurement and supply chain for parts required for technicians' interventions.
* Coordinate training for technicians and potentially customers, if required.
* Collaborate closely with sales, invoicing, accounts payable, and management teams to perform job duties effectively.
Requirements
* Technically inclined (knowledge of mechanical/HVAC systems is an asset)
* Experience in dispatching/scheduling an asset;
* 1 to 2 years of work experience in team coordination function;
* Proficient in MS Office suite, especially Excel;
* Mastery of the use of the computer for business purposes in general;
* Strong communication skills in French and ability to communicate in English in a customer service context is an asset.
