Your Role

We are looking for a Technical Support Technician to provide professional technical support to our customers, installers and internal teams across South Africa.You will diagnose and resolve technical faults on inverters, batteries, monitoring platforms and energy storage systems. You will work closely with installers and distributors to support system configuration, commissioning and reliable operation.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Provide technical support via phone, email, WhatsApp and other communication channels

✅ Troubleshoot inverter, battery, communications and monitoring issues

✅ Assist with system commissioning, analyse error codes and logs to find root causes

✅ Give clear, practical technical guidance; escalate complex faults to the engineering team

✅ Support firmware updates, remote troubleshooting and product technical testing

✅ Maintain up-to-date product and industry knowledge within solar and energy storage

Requirements

🎓 National Diploma / technical qualification or relevant experience in Electrical / Electronic Engineering, Renewable Energy or a related field

✔️ Practical experience with solar PV, hybrid inverters and battery storage systems will be an advantage

✔️ Good working knowledge of AC and DC electrical systems; able to read electrical drawings and technical datasheets

✔️ Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills, competent with computers

✔️ Excellent verbal and written communication, strong attention to detail, able to work independently and within a team

What we offer
