Technical Writer

Our client a rapidly growing, Series A funded company backed by Mayfield. We are actively searching for an individual to lead technical publications who is capable of producing high-quality documentation and marketing content that contributes to the overall success of our solution. You will work collaboratively with developers, quality engineers, product managers, and marketing experts to make our products easier to use.

Job Details

Responsibilities

• Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements.
• Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience.
• Write easy-to-understand user interface text, online help and developer guides.
• Create tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applications.
• Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities.

About you

• 4 to 8 years technical writing experience involving cloud/software infrastructure (containers, application provisioning, etc.).
• Ability to deliver high quality documentation with attention to detail.
• Desire to work in a fast-moving startup environment. Impeccable written and verbal communication and persuasion skills.
• Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easy to understand.
• Excellent written skills in English.
• Friendly, conversational, and great overall people skills.
