Job Description
This is a remote position.
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Power Engineer who combines strong technical expertise with the ability to communicate complex engineering concepts clearly and professionally.
This is not a marketing role — it is a specialist position for an engineer who deeply understands electrical power engineering theory and design practices and can translate complex calculations, standards, and methodologies into high-quality technical content.
You will work at the intersection of engineering, software, and communication, helping deliver technically accurate materials used by engineers globally.

Our client is an established global engineering software provider known for its technical credibility and high-quality electrical design tools used by engineers in over 50 countries. Their solutions support professionals working on:
- LV electrical design and protection systems
- Power cable modelling
- Electrical earthing and grounding systems
Key Responsibilities
- Write technically accurate articles related to electrical power engineering concepts and software tools
- Develop educational content explaining calculations, standards, and design methodologies
- Create professional LinkedIn and industry-focused content for engineering audiences
- Prepare technical presentations and slide decks
- Assist in producing and editing technical demonstration videos
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to clearly communicate software features
- Ensure accuracy, credibility, and technical precision across all published materials
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems focus preferred)
- Practical knowledge of power systems analysis, such as:
- Protection systems
- Fault analysis
- Cable sizing
- Earthing / grounding
- LV system design
- Ability to clearly explain complex engineering concepts in writing
- Experience preparing structured technical documents (reports, specifications, articles)
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Highly Regarded Skills
- Experience using electrical power system modelling or design software
- Technical writing experience (blogs, white papers, research, publications)
- Basic programming knowledge (Python, MATLAB, or similar)
- Video editing experience (Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut, etc.)
- Graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Suite)
- Experience presenting technical material to professional audiences
