De functie
Een internationale organisatie binnen EV-laadtechnologie breidt haar Europese activiteiten verder uit en zoekt een Nederlandstalige engineer voor het team in Nederland.
Dit is een brede, klantgerichte technische functie waarin je betrokken bent bij de volledige levenscyclus van EV-laad- en energie-infrastructuurprojecten: van de eerste haalbaarheidsanalyse en het technisch ontwerp tot netaansluiting, realisatie en commissioning.
Je werkt op het snijvlak van engineering, project delivery en commerciële teams en vertaalt klant-, locatie- en technische vereisten naar praktische oplossingen. Daarbij werk je samen met klanten, EPC-partners, installateurs, netbeheerders en internationale engineeringteams.
Deze functie past goed bij een engineer met een sterke technische basis die graag direct met klanten werkt en verantwoordelijkheid neemt binnen projecten. Ervaring binnen EV charging is een voordeel, maar kandidaten uit bredere elektrotechnische, energie-, renewable-, utility- en infrastructuuromgevingen worden ook aangemoedigd om te solliciteren.
Verantwoordelijkheden
- Technische ondersteuning en expertise bieden tijdens klant- en projectgesprekken
- Klant-, locatie-, elektrische en netvereisten vertalen naar praktische technische oplossingen
- Ontwikkelen en beoordelen van technische concepten, configuraties, SLD's, site layouts en haalbaarheidsstudies
- Projecten ondersteunen vanaf de eerste conceptfase tot realisatie en commissioning
- Samenwerken met klanten, EPC's, installateurs, netbeheerders en andere technische partners
- Ondersteunen bij netaansluitingen, technische aanvragen en projectgoedkeuringen
- Technische en projectrisico's identificeren en helpen bij het ontwikkelen van praktische oplossingen
- Technische input leveren voor proposals, tenders en projectdocumentatie
- Coördineren tussen klanten, partners en interne engineering- en productteams
- Inzichten uit projecten en klantfeedback terugkoppelen naar engineering- en productteams
Jouw profiel
- Vloeiend Nederlands en Engels
- Achtergrond binnen Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Energy of een vergelijkbare technische discipline
- Ervaring in een technische, engineering-, project- of klantgerichte functie
- Goede kennis van elektrische systemen en/of technische infrastructuur
- Ervaring met technische tekeningen, specificaties en projectdocumentatie
- Sterke communicatieve en probleemoplossende vaardigheden
- In staat om complexe technische informatie te vertalen naar praktische oplossingen
- Ervaring binnen EV charging, energie, renewables, utilities, power of andere technische infrastructuur is een voordeel
- Ervaring met netaansluitingen, Nederlandse netbeheerders, connectivity, EMS, controls en/of systeemintegratie is een sterke pré
- Recht om in Nederland te werken
- Bereidheid om binnen Nederland en incidenteel binnen Europa te reizen

Electrical Solutions Engineer – EV Charging & Energy Infrastructure | Amsterdam | €80k+ + Benefits

Travel: Netherlands + occasional European travel
The Opportunity
An international EV charging technology business is expanding its European operations and is looking for a Dutch-speaking engineer to join its team in the Netherlands.
This is a broad, customer-facing technical role covering the full lifecycle of EV charging and energy infrastructure projects, from initial feasibility and solution design through to grid connection, delivery and commissioning.
Working across engineering, project delivery and commercial teams, you will help translate customer, site and technical requirements into practical solutions, coordinating with customers, EPCs, installers, network operators and international engineering teams throughout the process.
The position would suit an engineer who combines strong technical capability with commercial awareness and enjoys working directly with customers. Experience within EV charging would be advantageous, although candidates from wider electrical, energy, renewables, utilities and infrastructure backgrounds will also be considered.
The Role
- Provide technical expertise during customer and project discussions
- Translate customer, site, electrical and grid requirements into practical technical solutions
- Develop and review technical concepts, configurations, SLDs, site layouts and feasibility studies
- Support projects from initial concept through delivery and commissioning
- Work with customers, EPCs, installers, network operators and other technical partners
- Support grid connection activities, technical applications and project approvals
- Identify technical and project risks and help develop practical solutions
- Provide technical input into proposals, tenders and project documentation
- Coordinate across customers, partners and internal engineering and product teams
- Feed project insight and customer feedback back into engineering and product development
What We're Looking For
- Fluent Dutch and English
- Background in Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Energy or a related technical discipline
- Experience within a technical, engineering, project or customer-facing role
- Good understanding of electrical systems and/or technical infrastructure
- Comfortable working with technical drawings, specifications and project documentation
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to translate complex technical requirements into practical solutions
- Experience within EV charging, energy, renewables, utilities, power or other technical infrastructure would be advantageous
- Experience with grid connections, Dutch network operators, connectivity, EMS, controls and/or system integration would be highly advantageous
- Right to work in the Netherlands
- Willingness to travel across the Netherlands and occasionally wider Europe
