What you’ll do (Essential Job Functions)
Program Leadership
- Lead complex cross-functional technology initiatives from planning through delivery.
- Manage program scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues.
- Coordinate work across Product Management, Development and Data Engineering.
- Facilitate alignment between business stakeholders and delivery teams.
- Develop and maintain program roadmaps and executive status reporting.
- Drive program governance and decision-making processes.
Scrum Master Responsibilities
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including:
- Sprint Planning
- Daily Standups
- Sprint Reviews
- Sprint Retrospectives
- Backlog Refinement Sessions
- Remove impediments impacting team productivity and delivery.
- Coach teams on Agile principles and Scrum best practices.
- Promote continuous improvement through retrospectives and action planning.
- Support Product Owners in backlog management and prioritization.
- Ensure work is appropriately estimated, planned, and tracked.
Delivery Management
- Monitor sprint and program performance using Agile metrics.
- Manage risks, dependencies, and escalations across teams.
- Track delivery commitments and identify potential schedule impacts early.
- Facilitate release planning and readiness reviews.
- Ensure alignment between strategic goals and execution activities.
- Provide transparency through dashboards, reporting, and communication plans.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve delivery effectiveness and team efficiency.
- Establish and maintain Agile governance standards and best practices.
- Drive adoption of standardized project and delivery management processes.
- Facilitate lessons learned sessions and implement improvements.
- Partner with Technology Enablement and Quality teams to improve organizational maturity.
Stakeholder Management
- Build strong relationships with business and technology stakeholders.
- Communicate program status, risks, and decisions to all levels of the organization.
- Facilitate cross-functional discussions to resolve competing priorities.
- Ensure stakeholders remain informed and aligned throughout the program lifecycle.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of Program Management, Project Management, or Scrum Master experience.
- 3+ years working in Agile delivery environments.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional technology programs.
- Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with Agile frameworks including Scrum and Kanban.
- Experience using Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar work management platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent certification.
- PMP, PgMP, SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), or related certification.
- Experience supporting Data Engineering, Software Development, QA, or Product teams.
- Experience with portfolio management, OKRs, and strategic planning.
- Experience with reporting and dashboard tools such as Power BI.
