Show job description

Reset your expectations of a health and wellness agency. From our inception, Fingerpaint has been driven by an unstoppable collective spirit of possibility. It’s that curiosity that’s at the heart of everything we do. From our legendary people-first culture to the hundreds of Fingerpainters who define us, we’ve reimagined what it means to be a healthcare and wellness advertising agency. Here, creativity happens naturally—we attract top talent and collaborate.

Team Overview

The Product & Applied AI team is a dedicated group focused on transforming our business by building unique Fingerpaint solutions and evolving our ways of working. In partnership with the business, we build the foundations, software, agents, tools and workflows that will empower the broader agency to achieve its business goals and deliver strategic and imaginative work.

Role Overview

This is an internal-facing role for a technology storyteller who can also build. You will help keep Fingerpaint teams informed about developments in technology and AI, track the vendor landscape and support product launches and new business with clear, current content.

You are curious about technology and quick to see what it means for life sciences marketing. You work AI-first, with a focus on building systems, workflows and reusable assets that make future work faster and more consistent. The role requires strong storytelling skills and editorial judgment, including reviewing AI-generated content with scrutiny and refining it so it is accurate, relevant and meaningful to its audience.

Duties and Responsibilities

Curation and intelligence

• Design, build, document and maintain AI-powered systems that monitor and synthesize technology, AI and industry developments into curated, relevant updates for internal Fingerpaint teams

• Apply and help refine the editorial standard for curated content, reviewing output for depth, accuracy and relevance and improving sources, prompts and logic as needed

• Partner with Learning & Development, as appropriate, to amplify relevant information and inspiration across the agency

• Build and maintain a library of relevant AI and technology vendors, manage intake of internal questions about emerging tools, and coordinate vendor capabilities meetings in support of decisions made by Product & Applied AI leadership

• Help translate emerging technology into use cases relevant to Fingerpaint teams and our clients' needs, in support of the Product team

• Track engagement with curated content and use the results to improve sources, formats and delivery

Storytelling and enablement

• Partner with Product Management and Operations on go-to-market planning, helping develop the narratives, positioning and presentation materials for new products, features and services

• Build reusable storytelling infrastructure (templates, content libraries, message frameworks and AI-assisted workflows) so product communications are consistent, current and fast to produce

• Work with the New Business team and its systems, acting as a conduit to Corporate Communications, to supply accurate, current content on Product & Applied AI offerings, capabilities and POVs for RFIs and RFPs and flag gaps or outdated material

• Measure engagement with product and sales materials and use the results to optimize content and delivery

Skills and Experience

• 2–4 years of experience in a role that combines communications, content, research or marketing with technology; agency, technology, consulting or healthcare experience preferred

• Excellent writing and presentation skills, including strong slide craft and a feel for narrative structure

• Deep, demonstrated curiosity about technology and AI; you follow developments closely

• Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, compelling use cases and stories for non-technical audiences

• Strong editorial judgment: you can separate signal from noise and explain why something matters, not just that it happened

• AI-first working style, with daily hands-on use of enterprise AI tools, including project and agent features, to do and scale your work

• Experience building no-code or low-code automations and workflows, and comfort working with engagement data

• A systems thinker who would rather build a repeatable solution than deliver a one-off

• High agency and a bias for action, with comfort managing competing priorities across multiple stakeholders with minimal direction

Nice to Have

• Light scripting (Python or JavaScript) or experience working with APIs and data feeds

• Familiarity with healthcare, pharma or life sciences marketing

• Experience supporting RFI/RFP responses or content libraries for new business

• Background in knowledge management or content operations

Please note that this position requires the ability to work a hybrid schedule of 2 days per week in our Philadelphia, PA office.
