About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Integration Lead to join a global digital marketing team, supporting the development and delivery of technical integration solutions across enterprise marketing platforms and business systems.

This is a senior, hands-on technical role focused on designing, developing and implementing robust API and webhook integrations. You will work closely with engineering teams, business stakeholders and external technology partners to build reliable, secure and scalable solutions that enable seamless data exchange and improve lead management capabilities.

The ideal candidate will have strong backend development experience, extensive knowledge of REST APIs and webhook integrations, and the ability to independently manage technical delivery from solution design through to deployment.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Design & Architecture

• Lead technical discovery and solution design for API and webhook integration requirements.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and development plans.
• Assess system dependencies, data availability, scalability, security and performance considerations.
• Recommend appropriate integration approaches and technical solutions.

API & Webhook Development

• Design, develop and implement REST API and webhook integrations between third-party platforms and enterprise business systems.
• Build API requests, responses, data transformations and validation logic.
• Implement secure integration workflows, including authentication, error handling, logging and monitoring.
• Troubleshoot complex integration issues and perform root-cause analysis.

Testing & Deployment

• Develop and execute integration testing to ensure data accuracy, reliability and performance.
• Support proof-of-concept development and production deployment.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
• Maintain technical documentation, integration specifications and operational handover materials.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with engineering, architecture, security, data and business teams.
• Collaborate with external technology providers and integration partners.
• Communicate technical solutions, challenges and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Support knowledge transfer and ongoing technical support.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Demonstrable experience in API development and enterprise integration solutions.
• Strong hands-on experience with REST APIs and webhook development.
• Proficiency in at least one modern backend programming language, such as Python, Java, JavaScript/Node.js or C#.
• Strong understanding of event-driven architectures and real-time data exchange.
• Experience with API authentication, security protocols and enterprise integration standards.
• Hands-on experience with data transformation, validation and error-handling mechanisms.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting and root-cause analysis capabilities.
• Experience integrating third-party SaaS platforms with enterprise applications.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with enterprise CRM platforms and their APIs.
• Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms and integration technologies.
• Experience with middleware and integration platforms.
• Exposure to marketing technology (MarTech), lead management systems or B2B marketing environments.
• Experience with real-time data validation and identity-matching solutions.
• Familiarity with campaign management, lead delivery and marketing automation workflows.
