• Support onboarding, training, and ongoing skill development for new and existing team members.
• Foster a collaborative, accountable, and customer‑focused team culture.
• Participate in hiring and workforce planning as the Integration team scales.
Technical & Delivery Leadership
• Provide oversight and guidance for integration discovery, design, and execution across customer projects.
• Act as an escalation point for complex or high‑risk integration challenges.
• Review integration architectures, API specifications, and technical documentation for quality and consistency.
• Ensure best practices are followed across integrations, including security, scalability, and maintainability.
• Balance hands‑on technical support with managerial responsibilities as needed.
Cross‑Functional & Stakeholder Collaboration
• Partner with Sales leadership to support technical discovery, pre‑sales conversations, and estimation for complex integrations.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to communicate integration gaps, customer feedback, and roadmap needs.
• Align with Implementation and Customer Success leaders to ensure seamless handoffs and customer satisfaction.
• Represent the Integration function in cross‑department planning and prioritization discussions.
Process, Strategy & Continuous Improvement
• Define, document, and continuously improve integration processes, standards, and tooling.
• Identify opportunities to increase delivery efficiency, predictability, and scale.
• Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and resource constraints across integration projects.
• Influence long‑term integration strategy aligned with Tempus product evolution.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
• A confident people leader who enjoys building, coaching, and scaling technical teams.
• Strong communicator capable of aligning technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable balancing strategic leadership with tactical, hands‑on problem solving.
• Trusted advisor to customers and internal teams during complex technical discussions.
• Organized, thoughtful, and proactive in managing multiple priorities across customers and team members.
• Demonstrated ability to drive accountability while maintaining a supportive team environment.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
• Previous experience managing or leading technical, integration, or implementation teams.
• Strong background supporting client integrations or enterprise software implementations.
• Experience acting as a senior technical consultant or solution architect.
• Experience with payment systems, e‑commerce, point‑of‑sale, or platform ecosystems is a plus.
• Comfort reviewing source code and troubleshooting integration issues (without expectation of hands‑on development).
