Technology Intern

TAYARi Transitions is a Pan-African Social Enterprise dedicated to bridging the gap between potential and opportunity, helping individuals especially young Africans scale through significant life transitions with wisdom and foresight, by offering resources, guidance, and community-building opportunities. We are looking for a Tech Intern to support the technical aspects of our programs, ensuring effective tech solutions. The Intern will manage technology resources, systems, and processes, ensuring smooth operations and supporting the implementation of tech solutions for TAYARi Transitions. This role is crucial for the soft launch of our program. Key Responsibilities: Manage technology systems, provide team support, and troubleshoot issues. Research and select software for virtual engagement and community building. Optimize website for speed, scalability, SEO, and accessibility. Configure a user-friendly CMS and train staff on content updates. Design website graphics, interactive visuals, and integrate program needs. Implement data security protocols and manage data entry and database maintenance. Track and analyze site performance, making recommendations for improvements. Set up and configure virtual platforms to enhance community engagement. Develop and enhance MVPs to align with program goals and engagement metrics. Create graphics for social media, email campaigns, events, and branded merchandise. Design visually appealing reports and impact documents. Produce infographics, data visualizations, and visual storytelling elements. Assist with basic video editing and motion graphics for digital content.
