Description Help Shape the Future of Modern Mobility Role Overview This role plays a central part in Travelpro’s evolution from a trusted legacy brand into a design-led, consumer-focused modern mobility company . The Technology & Network Experience Manager is a hands-on, player-coach technology manager responsible for the day-to-day performance, security, and reliability of Travelpro’s technology environment across the U.S. and Canada. Based in Boca Raton, this role combines deep Microsoft 365 expertise with broader infrastructure, networking, and data responsibilities, and is expected to personally troubleshoot, configure, administer, and improve critical systems while managing a small IT team and our MSP partners. Key areas include Microsoft 365 and identity, endpoint management, Cisco networking and Fortinet firewalls and VPN, Windows and JD Edwards servers, Power BI and the SQL data behind it, cybersecurity, and the continued rollout of Microsoft Copilot. Security is a central part of this role, from keeping the network secure and efficient to staying ahead of emerging risks, including those that come with AI. Hands-on experience supporting an ERP, WMS, or MRP system is a key requirement; we will teach JD Edwards, and over time this role is expected to build deep JDE administration expertise and take on increasing ownership of the platform alongside our Canada-based Technology & Network Experience Lead. The role partners closely with Operations, Finance, and Customer Service to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable technology. What You’ll Do Manage and develop a small IT team across the U.S. and Canada, including the on-site technician in Boca Raton, setting priorities, coaching, and serving as the escalation point for complex issues while staying hands-on. Personally administer and secure Microsoft 365, Entra ID identity and access, and Intune-managed Windows endpoints for office and remote users across all sites. Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot the network and connectivity environment, including Cisco switching and wireless and Fortinet firewalls and VPN, coordinating with our MSP partner on larger changes. Maintain Windows and JD Edwards servers, including off-site servers, covering patching, backups, monitoring, and disaster-recovery readiness; support the JD Edwards environment on the technical side and grow into deep JDE administration over time. Own cybersecurity for the environment, running day-to-day security operations with SentinelOne endpoint protection and the Microsoft security stack, and taking a proactive approach to protecting the company: access controls, data protection, phishing and alert response, and sound operational security practices, while staying ahead of emerging risks, including those introduced by AI tools. Support Power BI reporting and the Microsoft data platform behind it (SQL Server and, over time, Microsoft Fabric), and continue rolling out Microsoft Copilot across the organization as our AI tool. Manage software licenses, subscriptions, technology vendors, and MSP partners, maintaining the technical depth to challenge recommendations and drive service quality and cost accountability, and provide IT expense and vendor-cost recommendations to the Head of Operations and IT. Requirements What It Takes 5+ years of progressive, hands-on IT or infrastructure experience in a Microsoft-centric environment, with Microsoft 365 administration as your deepest skill, including experience leading a small team, projects, or vendors while remaining personally engaged in technical work. Hands-on experience supporting an ERP, WMS, or MRP system (JD Edwards, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, or similar) is a key requirement; we will teach JD Edwards, which on the technical side is largely scripting and SQL. Demonstrated success directly administering and troubleshooting enterprise systems, networks, security tools, and Windows servers, with a strong working understanding of cybersecurity practices and an awareness of how AI introduces new security considerations. Strong SQL and PowerShell skills and solid working knowledge of Power BI and SQL Server; Microsoft Fabric experience is a plus. Experience in distribution, manufacturing, consumer products, DTC, or a comparable operational environment preferred. Capabilities Hands-on technical leadership with the judgment to move between setting priorities, coaching a small team, and personally resolving complex issues. Strong execution and problem-solving skills with a bias for results, reliability, and security. Security-minded by default, treating access, data protection, and operational security as part of every decision rather than an afterthought. Clear communication and stakeholder alignment across leadership, operational, and frontline audiences. Analytical, data-informed decision-making with attention to risk, cost, and business impact. Adaptability in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment, bringing structure and accountability to evolving systems. Why this role matters Travelpro’s growing U.S. operations require strong, hands-on technology management that translates business needs into reliable day-to-day execution. This role strengthens internal ownership of the systems that support distribution, DTC, customer service, security, and business continuity while reducing overreliance on external partners. Successful performance will create a stable, secure, scalable technology environment and stronger technical bench strength across the U.S. and Canada. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered. Expertise across Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, and Windows endpoint management, plus solid networking with Cisco switching and wireless and Fortinet firewalls and VPN. Proficiency with Power BI and SQL Server; solid grounding in cybersecurity practices, data privacy, disaster recovery, and business continuity. Certifications such as MS-102, MD-102, SC-300, Cisco CCNA, Fortinet NSE, or CompTIA Network+/Security+ preferred. Working Environment Onsite at the Boca Raton, FL headquarters, with hands-on interaction with IT, network, and server-room equipment. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Flexible hours may be required for maintenance windows and incident response, with occasional travel to the Jackson, GA and Los Angeles distribution operations and the Canadian office. What We Offer A Culture Built for Growth: We believe in collaboration, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. We move fast, support one another, and challenge ourselves to keep evolving. Flexibility & Wellbeing: Flexible Time Away, company-paid holidays, and hybrid work flexibility.
