Location: London

Salary: Highly competitive + annual discretionary bonus

Working Pattern: Hybrid

Hawkwood is excited to be partnering with one of the world's leading quantitative research firms to hire a Talent Acquisition Partner, focusing on Quantitative Development Hiring.

Our client brings together some of the brightest minds in engineering and quantitative research to solve exceptionally complex problems. With a strong reputation for technical excellence and a genuinely high-performance culture, they place enormous value on attracting and retaining exceptional talent.

You'll join an established, highly regarded Talent Acquisition function, playing a key role in shaping how the business identifies and engages some of the world's most sought-after technical talent.

The Opportunity

This is a highly proactive, relationship-led recruitment role, with a focus on identifying, engaging and building long-term relationships with exceptional engineering talent globally.

Working closely with Engineering leadership, you'll develop a deep understanding of the technical landscape, build creative sourcing strategies and cultivate talent pipelines that support the business's long-term ambitions.

You'll have genuine autonomy to think creatively about how to engage difficult-to-reach talent, building relationships across the global engineering community and helping establish the firm's reputation as a destination for exceptional technical talent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the identification and engagement of exceptional Quantitative Development talent across all levels of seniority.
  • Develop creative sourcing and market-mapping strategies to engage hard-to-reach engineering talent.
  • Build and nurture long-term candidate relationships and multi-year talent pipelines.
  • Partner closely with Engineering leaders to understand their hiring needs and identify exceptional talent.
  • Leverage networking, referrals and innovative outreach to uncover new talent pools.
  • Share market insights and contribute to the development of the firm's Engineering employer brand.

About You

We're keen to speak with recruiters who enjoy the challenge of identifying exceptional technical talent and building relationships in competitive markets.

Ideally, you'll bring:

  • c.4 - 6 years' experience recruiting Quantitative Developers or similarly hard-to-reach technical talent, with experience in an agency or executive search environment particularly welcomed.
  • Strong market-mapping, sourcing and networking capabilities.
  • A proactive, creative approach to engaging candidates who aren't actively looking for new opportunities.
  • The ability to build credibility with senior technical stakeholders and develop meaningful candidate relationships.
  • A genuine interest in technology and a desire to work in a high-performing, intellectually stimulating environment.

If you're a technically curious recruiter who enjoys building relationships with exceptional talent and wants to work alongside some of the brightest minds in the industry, we'd love to hear from you.
