The Role

We are looking for a Tenable Security Architect / Administrator to lead the end-to-end design, deployment, administration, and automation of our enterprise vulnerability management infrastructure across hybrid environments.

In this varied and dynamic role, you will shape asset classification models, risk assessment reports, security policies, and implementation plans while configuring and monitoring networks to defend our enterprise infrastructure against cyber threats.

Key responsibility

• Architecture & Design: Design, scale, and maintain Tenable architecture (Security Center, Tenable.io / Tenable Vulnerability Management, and Nessus Scanners) across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Platform Administration: Oversee day-to-day operations, including scan policies, repositories, RBAC, platform upgrades, plugin updates, and troubleshooting scan or connectivity issues.
• Vulnerability Management & Remediation: Analyze scan results, prioritize vulnerabilities based on CVSS and business risk, and partner with cross-functional IT/cloud teams to drive and validate remediation efforts.
• Automation & Scripting: Develop custom scripts to automate platform health checks, reporting, and routine operational tasks using REST APIs and JSON payload processing.
• Enterprise Integration: Integrate Tenable platforms with core enterprise tooling, including ServiceNow, SIEM solutions (Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel), and Active Directory.
• Security Strategy & Awareness: Produce security evaluation reports, design security solution scenarios, establish operational procedures, and conduct security awareness workshops.
• Tenable Platform Expertise: Proven experience configuring, managing, and scaling Tenable products (Security Center, Tenable.io, Nessus) in hybrid enterprise environments.
• Technical & Scripting Skills: Hands-on experience with REST APIs, JSON processing, and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, or Bash) for operational automation.
• Ecosystem Integration Knowledge: Direct experience connecting vulnerability management tools with IT Service Management (ServiceNow), SIEMs (Splunk, Sentinel), and Directory Services (Active Directory).
• Vulnerability & Risk Management: Strong understanding of vulnerability scoring (CVSS), threat prioritization, and collaborating across IT/cloud engineering teams to ensure effective remediation.
• Security Frameworks & Communication: Ability to design security policies, draft comprehensive risk reports, evaluate security effectiveness, and lead security awareness initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years+ of Experience
• Tenable Enterprise Mastery: Proven experience designing, deploying, and administering enterprise Tenable solutions (Security Center, Tenable.io / Tenable Vulnerability Management, Nessus Scanners, and Nessus Managers) across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Vulnerability Lifecycle & Risk Prioritization: Deep understanding of the end-to-end vulnerability management lifecycle, including assessment, risk prioritization (CVSS, CIS Benchmarks, CVEs), remediation tracking, and supporting audit and compliance frameworks.
• Automation & Scripting: Practical proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) and working with REST APIs and JSON payload processing to automate platform health checks, scanner deployments, and operational reporting.
• Ecosystem & Cloud Integrations: Hands-on experience integrating Tenable with enterprise platforms including ServiceNow, SIEM solutions (Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel), Active Directory, and major cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Cross-Functional Governance & Technical Support: Strong technical leadership skills to troubleshoot complex scan failures, define scanning policies, deliver actionable reports/dashboards, and collaborate with cross-functional IT, security, and infrastructure teams to drive vulnerability closure.

• Relevant industry certifications such as:
  • Tenable Certified Professional (TCP)
  • Security+
  • CEH
  • CISSP (Preferred)
  • Azure/AWS Security Certifications
