Tender and Bid Manager
Compions.AgencyWe are looking for a manager who can quickly assess an opportunity, make a well-informed decision on whether to participate and take an application or tender proposal through to a high-quality submission.

Our work spans business, the public sector, international programmes, and socially impactful projects.
WHAT YOU WILL DO- Monitor tenders, procurement opportunities, calls for proposals, competitions, and requests for proposals (RFPs) in Ukraine and internationally on a daily basis.
- Work across three main areas: international and social-sector calls for proposals, public procurement, and commercial tenders.
- Conduct an initial assessment of each opportunity, including eligibility, relevant experience, team capacity, documentation, budget, deadlines, risks, and overall feasibility.
- Analyse tender documentation and identify key requirements, evaluation criteria, mandatory documents, deadlines, and restrictions.
- Coordinate the preparation of the technical, content, and commercial components of proposals.
- Work with budgets, cost estimates, and financial forms together with the relevant team members.
- Prepare or coordinate concepts, project proposals, cover letters, application forms, and other submission materials.
- Ensure that the submission package meets all requirements, including document versions, signatures, attachments, formatting, and submission deadlines.
- Maintain an opportunity calendar, a register of submitted applications, and up-to-date statuses for each tender.
- Communicate with tender and competition organisers, prepare clarification requests, and respond to queries.
- Analyse participation results: what we won, what we lost, why, and how to improve future submissions.
- Gradually build and maintain your own database of relevant platforms, donors, procuring organisations, and corporate tender channels.
- Practical experience working with tenders, grant competitions, procurement processes, or competitive proposals.
- Ability to read complex documentation and quickly identify critical requirements.
- Strong structured thinking and excellent attention to detail.
- Upper-Intermediate level of English or higher.
- Experience with tenders for communications, marketing, creative, research, or consulting services is a strong advantage.
- Experience working with international organisations, foundations, technical assistance programmes, or embassies is a strong advantage.
