We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Tender & Proposal Writer to prepare, compile, and submit professional bids and documentation for Australian IT and Government tenders. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Australian procurement process, especially within the IT sector, and a proven track record of delivering successful submissions. Key Responsibilities: Identify relevant IT and Government tender opportunities (optional if needed). Prepare, write, and edit high-quality proposals and bid documents. Manage end-to-end tender submission processes in accordance with guidelines. Liaise with internal stakeholders to gather technical and commercial inputs. Ensure all documents meet compliance, legal, and formatting requirements. Submit proposals on relevant platforms (e.g. AusTender, eTendering portals). Track tender outcomes and provide feedback for future improvement. Requirements Proven experience preparing proposals for Australian Government or IT tenders. Strong understanding of AusTender and other state/territory platforms. Exceptional written communication and documentation skills. Ability to interpret complex RFTs, RFQs, and tender specifications. Strong organisational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines. Familiarity with cybersecurity, managed IT services, cloud, or digital solutions is highly desirable. Preferred Qualifications: Background in IT, Business, Procurement, or Communications. Experience with government compliance frameworks (e.g. IRAP, ISO, ESS, etc.). APMP or similar proposal writing certifications (desirable but not essential).
