Key Roles & Responsibilities
Territory Ownership & Growth
- Own and grow a multi-state territory AK, CA, HI, OR, WA with full accountability for revenue performance and market expansion.
- Develop and execute a strategic territory plan aligned with company growth objectives.
Customer Management (≈20%)
- Manage and strengthen relationships with existing customers, including fabricators, distributors, and dealers.
- Drive organic growth through proactive account management, product training, and joint sales initiatives.
- Partner with customers on project opportunities to increase share of wallet.
New Business Development (≈20%)
- Actively prospect and acquire new customers across fabricators, distributors, and hardscape/masonry dealers.
- Utilize a multi-channel approach including in-person visits, phone outreach, email campaigns, and social media selling.
- Maintain a strong pipeline and consistently meet or exceed new business targets.
Project Engagement (≈60%)
- Build relationships with design/build, high end residential, architects, designers, and specifiers to drive product specifications.
- Deliver product presentations and continuing education (CEU) sessions to influence project decisions.
- Position Polycor as a preferred natural stone partner in the A&D community.
Product Expertise
- Represent Polycor’s full product portfolio including limestone, marble, granite, fabricated stone, and Vetrazzo
- Educate customers on applications, features, and competitive advantages of natural stone solutions
Travel & Territory Coverage
- Travel approximately 60% within the territory to maintain strong market presence, customer engagement, and develop prospect opportunities.
Sales Operations & Reporting
- Collaborate with Sales Director to set goals, refine strategy, and track performance
- Maintain accurate and timely updates in CRM, including activity tracking, pipeline management, and forecasting
- Provide regular insights and territory analysis to support data-driven decision-making
- Participate in weekly team calls, and monthly 1-on-1’s.
- Sales Operations Standard Metrics
- 12 to 24 hour response to inbound inquiries from leads, customers, prospects, calls, emails, internal teams, etc. (In office and out of office/traveling expectation)
- 100% Salesforce compliance
- 30 - 35 meetings per month.
- 2 CEU presentations per month.
- Expected pipeline of XX in new project opportunities
- Expected pipeline of XX in new dealer, distributor, fabricator opportunities
- Targeted 80% effort prospecting, 20% effort with existing customers
- Open opportunities activity, close dates, information accurate and up to date.
- Consistent and up to date open leads follow up
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with internal teams (operations, marketing, finance, leadership) to support customer needs and drive business results
- Communicate market feedback to help inform product development and go-to-market strategies

Compensation & Benefits
Total target compensation of $100,000–$140,000, consisting of a competitive base salary plus commission.
