Territory Sales Engineer (Automotive Repairing Aftermarket Segment)

About this Position

This role is based in Surabaya (East Java). Drive sales growth and customer engagement in East Java by executing sales strategies aligned with Henkel’s SBU and sustainability objectives. This role focuses on managing existing distributor accounts, acquiring new customers, and ensuring strong brand representation in the Automotive Repairing Aftermarket Segment.

What you´ll do

• Combine technical expertise with sales skills to promote and sell complex technical products or services to clients.
  
• Engage with potential clients to understand their technical needs and issues.
  
• Work closely with the sales team to develop comprehensive and customized proposals for potential clients.
  
• Provide technical input into proposals, including product specifications, pricing, and implementation plans.
  
• Offer technical help and demonstrate our products, highlighting their features, functions, and benefits.
• Develop and implement strategic sales plan for products in your assigned territory.
  
• Provide expert advice and technical consultation to customers, offering solutions tailored to their specific needs.

What makes you a good fit

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the Automotive Repairing Aftermarket Segment
• Strong network with spare parts partners, automotive paint distributors and OES channels in Indonesia.
• Technical knowledge of vehicle repair processes is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills; ability to work independently.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
• Proficiency in English and Indonesian.
