Territory Strategic Executive

Remote located in Washington,

D.C., Philadelphia, or Boston.

Plum Laboratories delivers world-class, portable, high-speed connectivity solutions designed to keep organizations connected when traditional infrastructure fails. Serving government agencies, emergency management organizations, healthcare systems, utilities, public safety organizations, and other critical infrastructure leaders, Plum Laboratories helps customers stay prepared when reliable communication matters most.

As the sales team continues to grow, Plum Laboratories is seeking a Strategic Territory Executive who is energized by the opportunity to build markets, develop meaningful relationships, and help organizations prepare for their most challenging moments.

This is not a transactional sales role. The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted advisor—uncovering customer challenges, challenging assumptions, and helping leaders identify and address risks they may not yet recognize.

Best-in-Class Benefits and Culture:

We value our employees’ time and efforts. Our commitment to your success is enhanced by a competitive compensation of $60,000-$100,000 base per year depending on experience, and an extensive benefits package including:

  • Comprehensive health coverage: Medical, dental, and vision insurance provided
  • Robust retirement planning: 401(k) plan available with employer matching
  • Financial security: Life and disability insurance for added protection
  • Flexible financial options: Health savings and flexible spending accounts offered
  • Well-being and work-life balance: Paid time off, flexible schedule, and remote work choices provided

Plus, we work to maintain the best environment for our employees, where people can learn and grow with the company. We strive to provide a collaborative, creative environment where everyone feels encouraged to contribute to our processes, decisions, planning, and culture.

To thrive/succeed as the Territory Strategic Executive you should have:

  • 5+ years of successful B2B sales experience, with a proven track record of developing new business, building markets, and exceeding revenue goals.
  • Experience selling complex solutions involving multiple stakeholders, with strong discovery, consultative selling, and executive-level relationship-building skills.
  • A curious, challenger mindset with the ability to ask thoughtful questions, uncover customer needs, and educate customers on risks and solutions they may not have considered.
  • A builder mentality with the confidence to research accounts, prospect independently, make outbound calls, and create new opportunities rather than relying on inbound leads.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to navigate complex organizations and guide customers through longer, strategic sales cycles.
  • Experience selling to government/public sector, emergency management, utilities, healthcare, public safety, or related markets is preferred, along with experience in technology, networking, cybersecurity, telecommunications, portable communications, or cellular routers also beneficial.
  • Willingness to travel up to approximately 50%; candidates located in Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, or Boston metropolitan areas, are the only candidates being considered.

Your responsibilities as the Territory Strategic Executive will include:

  • Own and drive revenue growth within an assigned geographic territory.
  • Create new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, and industry relationships.
  • Build and develop relationships with government agencies, emergency management teams, utilities, healthcare organizations, and critical infrastructure leaders.
  • Expand and strengthen relationships with existing Plum Laboratories customers to uncover additional opportunities.
  • Lead consultative sales conversations with executives, technical teams, and procurement stakeholders.
  • Help customers identify communication vulnerabilities and develop resilient connectivity strategies tailored to their needs.
  • Manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles involving funding sources and procurement processes, with up to approximately 50% travel for customer meetings, conferences, industry events, and team collaboration.

At Plum Laboratories, your work goes beyond selling technology, it helps organizations and communities stay connected when it matters most. If you’re energized by solving meaningful challenges, building trusted relationships, and making a real-world impact for emergency responders, healthcare organizations, utilities, government agencies, and critical infrastructure leaders, we’d love to hear from you. Bring your curiosity, drive, and passion for making a difference - apply today and help build a more connected, resilient future.
