• 12-month contract with 2 x 12-month extension options

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 & Power Platform, Playwright/Selenium, API testing, Azure DevOps & CI/CD

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Functional Automation Tester to join an established testing practice supporting a major Australian Government digital transformation program.

You’ll work across Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions, including Power Pages, Power Apps and Dataverse, helping ensure new and enhanced digital services are reliable, secure and fit for purpose. This is a hands-on testing role combining manual and automated testing, with a strong focus on UI, API/integration testing and embedding automated regression testing into CI/CD pipelines.

Your duties will include:

• Design, execute and maintain manual and automated test cases across Dynamics 365 and Power Platform applications.
• Perform functional, UI, integration, system, regression and UAT testing across web and enterprise applications.
• Develop and maintain automated UI regression test suites using Playwright, Selenium, EasyRepro or similar frameworks.
• Conduct API and integration testing using tools such as Postman/Newman, REST Assured or Playwright API testing.
• Integrate automated testing into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines to support automated build and release validation.
• Manage defects, test results and reporting while working closely with developers, business stakeholders and multidisciplinary Agile teams.

Skills and Experience we are looking for:

• Demonstrated experience testing Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Pages and Dataverse.
• Strong experience across manual and automated testing, including functional, system, integration, regression and UAT.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, EasyRepro or similar, including UI and API testing.
• Experience integrating automated test suites into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of VS Code, Azure DevOps, source control, defect management and test management, with an understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies, projects and business domains, work independently and contribute effectively within a collaborative testing team.

Desirable: ISTQB Automation Certification or similar, deeper experience with Dynamics 365/Dataverse/Power Platform/Power BI, and experience with Jira or similar test and defect management tools.
