Test Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Write test plans, cases and scripts from user stories and acceptance criteria.

• Build and maintain automated suites (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Postman) that run in CI/CD.

• Run functional, integration, regression and Section 508 testing, and support UAT.

• Maintain the requirements traceability matrix and log defects in VA tools.

• Report test results and coverage for release readiness.

Qualifications

• Mid: 5+ years in software testing, including 3+ years of automation.

• Journeyman: 2+ years in software testing.

• Test plans, cases and scripts from user stories; defect management.

Desired Skills:

• Selenium, Cypress, Playwright or Postman in CI/CD.

• Requirements traceability matrix in Jira Xray or VA Quality Manager.

• Section 508 testing and UAT support.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree.

• ISTQB Agile Tester; Section 508 Trusted Tester preferred.

Clearance:

• Must be able to obtain a Tier 2 / Moderate Risk Public Trust and a VA PIV credential.

Work Location:

• Remote, USA.

Pay Range:

• The suggested pay for this position ranges from $95,546 to $105,875.
• The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
• Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses.
