Test Automation Engineer - Mobile

Neunen is an international IT consulting and software development company headquartered in Thessaloniki, Greece. We partner with medium to enterprise scale organizations across Germany to deliver high-impact digital transformation, agile coaching, and modern mobile and cloud architectures. We are expanding our team and looking for a Mobile Test Automation Engineer to design, build, and scale automated test suites across real devices and emulators for high-visibility mobile applications.

What You’ll Do

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable end-to-end mobile test automation frameworks using TypeScript and WebdriverIO / Appium.
• Execute and orchestrate automated test suites across physical devices and emulators using Sauce Labs
• Build and maintain resilient Page Object Models (POM), robust locator strategies, and automation utilities for hybrid mobile applications.
• Integrate automated test runs directly into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous regression testing and rapid release cycles.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams, product managers, and client stakeholders to define test strategies and identify quality bottlenecks early.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Experience: At least 2 years experience in international projects
• Work Authorization & Residency: Strictly open to permanent residents of Greece.
• Languages: Very good command of English (spoken and written)
• TypeScript & Node.js: Practical programming skills in TypeScript
• Mobile Automation Tooling: Proven hands-on experience using WebdriverIO/Appium for mobile application testing
• Cloud Device Testing: Demonstrated experience configuring, running, and debugging automated test suites on Sauce Labs (or similar tools).
• Automation Fundamentals: Solid experience designing maintainable Page Object Models, custom test assertions, and locator strategies (Accessibility IDs, XPath, Native vs. WebView contexts).

Nice-to-Haves

• CI/CD Integration: Hands-on experience integrating automated tests into GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Bitbucket Pipelines.
• API Testing: Familiarity with validating backend APIs (REST, GraphQL) using tools like Postman within automated suites.
