About the role:

As a Test Engineer, you will play a key role in the development and validation of our automatic coffee machines, ensuring that new products meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and reliability before they reach the market. Working closely with international teams across Italy, China, and other global locations, you will contribute to bringing innovative products from prototype stage to commercialization.
The impact you’ll make:
As a Test Engineer, you will help shape and execute testing activities throughout the product development lifecycle. Your work will directly influence product quality, user experience, and speed to market.
Key responsibilities include:
• Planning, developing, and executing test plans and test schedules in collaboration with Quality Project Leaders (QPLs) and Test & Validation (T&V) leaders.
• Performing product validation and verification testing on automatic coffee machines.
• Monitoring, documenting, and reporting test results to project stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Supporting daily testing activities and contributing to project decision-making through data-driven insights.
• Reviewing testing progress, identifying risks, and communicating testing status within the T&V organization.
• Developing and improving test methodologies and procedures to enhance testing effectiveness.
• Conducting data analysis and translating test outcomes into actionable recommendations.
• Collaborating closely with engineering, quality, and project teams in an international environment.
The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:
We're looking for a proactive and curious individual who enjoys solving problems and working in a hands-on engineering environment.
• A degree in Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Product Development, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong analytical skills with a structured and detail-oriented approach.
• Good understanding of testing, validation, or laboratory activities.
• Confidence working with data, statistics, and reporting tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and database applications.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• A proactive mindset, willingness to learn, and a strong sense of ownership and urgency.
• Adaptability and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
What we’ll give you in return:
The salary range for this position is EUR 34,000 – EUR 44,000 gross annual fixed compensation (RAL), corresponding to Level B1 of the CCNL Metalmeccanico (Code: C011), and determined by Versuni's objective, gender-neutral career framework.
In addition to the fixed salary, you will be eligible for a variable compensation plan linked to company performance and incentive programmes.
