Testing Analyst

About the Role We are seeking an experienced Testing Analyst to support a large-scale digital transformation initiative. This role will focus on User Acceptance Testing (UAT), quality assurance, defect management, business readiness, training development, deployment support, and post-implementation stabilization. The successful candidate will work closely with Product Owners, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), business stakeholders, and project teams to validate system functionality, ensure requirements are met, and support successful user adoption. The role will also leverage approved AI and Generative AI tools to improve testing efficiency, documentation, training development, knowledge transfer, and quality assurance while ensuring appropriate human review, privacy, security, and governance. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and execute test scenarios, test scripts, and test cases based on business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT), functional testing, regression testing, enhancement testing, end-to-end testing, and retesting. Identify, document, track, prioritize, and validate defects through resolution. Maintain testing documentation, execution records, traceability, test results, and status reporting. Support integration testing, data migration validation, and business process validation. Participate in sprint and release testing, including test planning, defect triage, smoke testing, deployment validation, and post-deployment verification. Monitor testing progress and communicate risks, issues, dependencies, blockers, and testing outcomes to project stakeholders. Work with Product Owners, SMEs, and business stakeholders to validate business and technical requirements. Develop and maintain user guides, quick reference guides, job aids, training presentations, process documentation, knowledge articles, and FAQs. Prepare training scenarios, demonstrations, training datasets, and other user adoption materials. Support or facilitate training sessions, user walkthroughs, demonstrations, and knowledge transfer activities. Support business readiness, go-live, transition-to-operations, and post-implementation stabilization activities. Identify opportunities to use AI and Generative AI tools to improve test case development, test coverage, defect analysis, reporting, documentation, training, and knowledge management. Review and validate AI-generated content to ensure accuracy, completeness, relevance, accessibility, and alignment with approved requirements. Ensure testing and AI-assisted activities comply with applicable privacy, security, accessibility, quality assurance, and governance standards. Demonstrated experience as a Testing Analyst, QA Analyst, UAT Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or similar role. Strong hands-on experience developing and executing test cases, test scripts, test scenarios, and UAT activities. Experience with functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, enhancement, and release testing. Strong experience with defect identification, documentation, tracking, triage, and resolution validation. Experience working with user stories, business requirements, and acceptance criteria. Experience working within Agile/Scrum or sprint-based delivery environments. Experience with ServiceNow or similar work management/testing platforms is an asset. Experience developing training materials, user documentation, job aids, FAQs, and knowledge articles. Experience supporting business readiness, deployment, go-live, and post-implementation activities. Familiarity with AI and Generative AI tools and their application to testing, documentation, analysis, and training development. Understanding of responsible AI practices, including the importance of human validation of AI-generated outputs. Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, Product Owners, SMEs, and business stakeholders. Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple testing and readiness activities simultaneously.
