TheTravel | Destinations and Travel Experiences Writer

TheTravel is a fast-growing online travel publication, and we're looking for freelance travel writers who are always on the move.

You'll write about the places, parks, stays and trips worth taking, based on where you've actually been. If you travel often and come home with stories, photos and recommendations people trust, we'd love to hear from you. Travel writers, bloggers and creators with published work, as well as travel advisors, tour operators and hospitality professionals who write, are encouraged to apply.

What You'll Do

• Pitch and write based on your own travels
• Share honest, practical insight: what's worth it, what to skip, and how to plan
• Track article performance and use the results to improve future work
• Follow TheTravel's Editorial Guidelines and work with the Lead Editor to implement feedback quickly
• Meet deadlines and submit consistently

Requirements

• 3+ years producing travel content or professional experience in the travel or hospitality industry plus published writing
• Bachelor's degree in journalism or a related field, or equivalent experience
• SEO knowledge and experience with a CMS are a plus
