Threat Implementation Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a Threat Implementation Engineer to support enterprise cybersecurity deployment and infrastructure modernization initiatives. This role is responsible for implementing, upgrading, and optimizing threat security platforms while ensuring stability and minimal impact to production environments.

What You'll Do

• Design, deploy, and implement enterprise threat security solutions.
• Support security technology refresh, upgrade, and migration initiatives.
• Perform technical planning, deployment sequencing, and risk mitigation activities.
• Collaborate with architecture, engineering, and operations teams on security deployments.
• Support lifecycle management of hardware and software security platforms.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and align them with security solutions.
• Maintain deployment documentation, asset tracking, and implementation records.
• Support after-hours and weekend change activities when required.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Threat Engineering experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong experience designing, implementing, deploying, and optimizing security platforms.
• Experience leading complex security implementation and deployment projects.
• Strong understanding of DMZ networking and secure network segmentation.
• Experience with Cisco routing and switching.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience supporting large-scale or highly regulated environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Banking or financial services industry experience.
• CISSP or other security/networking certifications.

• Knowledge of enterprise risk management practices.
• Experience with solution design and delivery methodologies.
