About the role

The Ticketing Operations Coordinator will work with the Promoters and Tour Operations team to deliver various functions related to ticketing, venue and other tour operations, working independently on smaller tours and supporting the broader team on arena and stadium level shows and festivals (when required).

This role is detail oriented and requires someone with proven ticketing experience who is great with numbers, deadline driven and highly organised. We are looking for someone who is excited by a busy work environment and can hit the ground running.

For clarity, your ticketing experience needs to be in ticketing systems, managing ticket builds and inventory and planning - not scanning tickets at an event or working a box office.

Responsibilities

On a day-to-day basis, the Ticketing Operations Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Collating relevant show information required for ticket builds
  • Coordinate ticket builds with venues and ticketing companies
  • Scheduling on-sale timelines and monitoring the on-sale process
  • Managing ticket inventory and distributing regular and accurate ticket sales updates
  • Collating and processing complimentary tickets and guest lists
  • Maintaining internal tour, venue and ticketing databases
  • Working with other departments (marketing and production) as required
  • Assist Promoter and Tour Operations managers as required with scaling and pricing
  • Assist with the delivery of VIP packages
  • Where required, assist with box office management on show days or with festivals
  • Undertake additional projects and responsibilities as required

Skills/Experience

  • Minimum two years’ experience working in a ticketing role.
  • Strong general computer literacy across various platforms, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint and working familiarity with social media applications.
  • Demonstrated organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to track and manage files, archiving and spreadsheets.
  • Proven ability to work in a high-pressured environment with competing priorities, stakeholders and firm deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively to deadlines, whether working independently or in a team. Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Other desirable attributes include high level of personal presentation, friendly disposition, professional management of external relationships, strong written and verbal communication levels, genuine passion for music and live entertainment, forward thinking and problem solving.

If you feel like this is a role that suits your personality and skill set, and that you would enjoy a creative, fast paced and fun environment with a close team, then we would love to hear from you.

Please send us through your resume and a cover letter telling us about you and what it is about this role that interests you. Please also include your salary expectations (a rough guide is fine) and detail any significant AL booked in the next 12 months in your cover letter.

Given we are in the Live Touring Industry - please also tell us about your favourite gig (and why you loved it). This role is all about paying attention to all the little details - so applications that don't answer this question in their cover letter will not be considered.

We will be reviewing applications as they come in so please don't delay in applying.

Noting - only applicants with existing permanent working rights for Australia will be considered for this full time ongoing position.
