A Project Schedule Coordinator ensures projects are completed on time by developing, maintaining, and monitoring detailed project schedules, timelines, and milestones. They facilitate communication between teams, update stakeholders on progress, and use software like MS Project to identify risks, manage resources, and adjust schedules to prevent delays.

As a Project Schedule Coordinator with the DHA Global Service Center, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of programs, projects, and managed services related to the JOMIS mission. Your day-to-day activities will include coordinating projects through schedule management, shared service coordination, as well as developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and sponsors to ensure high levels of commitment that enable the service delivery outcomes for our Joint Operational Medicine Information Systems (JOMIS) customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, analyze, and maintain project schedules for complex, high-velocity technical cloud-based call contact center solutions
  • Prepare executive-level schedule status reports and dashboards and oversee schedule analysis to drive optimization
  • Collaborate with technical program managers, architects, civil/electrical engineers, and supply chain teams to ensure timely project delivery
  • Identify critical path delays and conduct "what-if" scenarios to proactively manage risks
  • Review and validate contractor schedules and resource loading
  • Drive continuous improvement in scheduling standards and tools

Skills:

  • Proven experience in project controls, construction scheduling, or infrastructure project management
  • Proficiency with scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and advanced data analysis tools (e.g., PowerBI, Excel, Smartsheet)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment
  • Experience defining project scope, goals, and roadmaps
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, Jira, and Asana
  • Strong communication, leadership, and the ability to influence stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Active Public Trust Clearance
  • Primary work locations in San Antonio, TX
  • 6+ years enterprise coordinating advanced technical project schedules
  • Bachelor's degree in an IT or math-related field and/or equivalent experience
  • Security+ Certification required
  • ITIL4/5 Foundations Certification (preferred)
  • Experience working within Military Health and Operational Medicine environments (preferred)
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow (MHSSHD) ITSM ticketing system (preferred)

The compensation range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to location, skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.


In addition, U.S Citizenship is required. Select applicants will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and be able to obtain a government-granted security clearance. Individuals may also be subject to a background investigation including, but not limited to criminal history, employment and education verification, drug testing, and creditworthiness.


This position is contingent upon contract award. Employment is not guaranteed and will proceed only if the associated contract is awarded and funded.
